Ok, I realize this question has been asked, but it was asked at the beginning of the year and it wasn't ever really answered definitively. Would it be possible to create a character using a custom race? If this is a no go, I'm more than willing to create a character using the given races. I just want to make sure one way or another before I do so. I have a few ideas running around in my head for characters, but most of them involve using races that aren't listed specifically. Have you guys ever considered using subraces maybe? Meaning, races that come from one of the main races, but are different enough to be their own type? Sorry, I'm a naturally inquisitive gamer. I like to have all the facts before I make a leap. ^_^; |

It is possible to create a custom race, I'm proof of that. My race was crated by...me. I won a contest and got to become the Emissary of my own race. If you want it to become an Official race talk it over with Rosaline in the private messages. I believe we have a race called Dhampires...it’s a race that comes out of vampires. Other then that I have no idea but I'm sure we can open up to the idea. It’s not a crime to ask questions...Any more. Einstein asked "too many questions" but that was long ago. You may ask however many questions as you like. |

Well, we've had some requests before for new races. Last year, we had a contest to create a new species, with our new settings, which haven't been opened yet but thats another story... Basically, if you'd like to create a new species, we ask you to create a species listing, like the ones in the breed catalog. Send this listing to me via PM. I'll put it up for review with the rest of our staff, and we'll get you an answer shortly. Sometimes, we need to be careful of recreation of things that are already out there, because they're might be copyright things, etc. So, send it to us for approval, and we'll let you know. |
