Well, my dads a Country Music musician, so I've been going to his gigs since I was prenatal...but I don't think thats what you mean...:D I went to a Ricky Skaggs Concert when I was like 3... Saw Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Boxcar Willie long before that... The concerts I've decided to go to of my own free will started when i was 13, I dragged my country music father to a backstreet boys cocnert jam packed with high pitched screaming 12 year olds...and AJ McLean running around like a mad man without a shirt...just a week before announcing his admittance into rehab. Shaggy and Krystal opened. My Junior year of high school, I went to the national FFA convention in Kentucky, where I saw Dierks Bently and Trace Atkins and let me tell you...I can't listen to Trace Atkins without flashes of the man humping the mic stand haunting my brain. After that, I went to see Phil Vassar with a very good friend at the time...that was like....the best concert to date. A local girl opened, no biggie...and it was an outdoor show. After Phil, the night before my Junior Prom, I went to see Alison Krauss and Union Station. (With Jerry Douglas - Dobro GOD!) It was semi-unplugged and awesome. Then, just this past august the height of my concert life was reached, when Anok took me to see Phil Vassar again. After a fallout with the friend I'd seen it with the first time...it was quite a difficult thing at first, but then we worked our way down to front row....And Phil kept waving at me and posing for my camera, etc...after the show..they announced he was signing tshirts...and so I met my favorite man in the world. And got a hug, etc. I was SQUEEFUL! And the tshirt is now my comfort shirt when I've had a bad day. I've loved every concert except for that trace atkins one...and all of them have a good show Highly Recommended entertainers.

I love concerts, unfortunately I don't get to go often enough. Let's see I've seen The Righteous Brothers and The Moody Blues. Just got tickets to another Moody's show actually. I do kind of wish I had someone other than my mom to go to concerts with though. Love her sort of music but I would like to go to something a bit newer every now and then ^^; |
