Character name Viscount Leon DuPont Age: 552 years old Species: Vampire Job: Relationship: None at the moment Family: Only son, parents deceased. Description: Leon looks to be in his mid twenties, he stands at 6 foot tall with short brown hair with a cows lick leading to a few stray strands sweeping over his forehead. His face while square is rounded at the edges giving him a stern yet soft look. His dark green eyes only add to the hardness of his features but if stared into betray a man who has been harden by the years but also tenderised as a result. His tall body is what could be called “perfect” or more appropriately “peak”. His body is toned with a smattering of downy hair where it counts. There is the undeniable ripple of muscle under his pale skin, the definition of muscles underneath without looking as though his muscles were about to burst out of his skin and take over his body. He is always immaculately dressed and has gone through many stages of fashion as the years moved on usually sticking with formal wear, however in the more modern times he finds the shirt and jean look attractive for its union of smart with comfortable. Personality: At first Leon comes across as a closed minded aggressive individual who can be very confrontational. The truth is that really he is a very guarded person after centuries of suffering the death of friends and lovers. However he is also a very passionate and loving person underneath and a very loyal friend. If you’re not human of course. Leon is extremely xenophobic when it comes to humans, due to the death of both parents to human hunters. Skills: Leon is exceptionally skilled with all manner of blades as he was brought up through the periods where sword play was prevalent. While most vampires’ skills were focussed on the manipulation of people he trained his on the psycho-manipulation of objects leading to a very strong telekinetic ability and with effort even the psycho-manipulation of heat. History:Leon was born in 1456 to Amelia and Sebastian-Jacques DuPont in the French city of Lyon. Both of his parents were vampires and born as such, for this was a time when the vampirism virus had not undergone such drastic mutations and “dilution” through the transmitting from one person to another. However it was undergoing those mutations and the numbers of female fertile vampires was dropping at a dramatic rate. While his parents were both vampires they both lived under the guise of humans so much so that his father was Viscount of Lyon. His father was also a descendant of a highly recognised vampiric bloodline and heir to the clan of the area. The early years of Leon’s life were very normal until he was 38 when France took part in the great Italian wars. His at the time fiancé was killed early on in the war. It was during this war when he was 43 that his parents were both killed at first he thought they were killed fighting in the war. However when he was 103 years of age and the wars finally ended it came to light that they were killed by catholic fanatics who had discovered they were vampires and as such workers of the devil, despite the fact they were fighting for France at the time. It was at this time he decided to follow the rumours of a safe heaven for his kind a place with no humans and no persecution. Of course realistically he didn’t believe it would be a utopia, just a damn sight better than this place. To this end he took to travelling over Europe he met another vampire male who showed him just how powerful his psionic powers could be especially seduction. After spending another forty years with this companion travelling they tried to find Ris’mos together parting ways to search more of Europe coming back together every year to search together before parting ways again. Until one year he didn’t return. Leon’s search was now for his lover and not Ris’mos until he found out that humans had once again taken his lover from him. In 200 years humans had taken two parents and two lovers from him, the hatred he felt for their species was almost tangible. He spent the next few decades isolated and focusing on his own mental powers however he wanted something he could hurt this feeble species with something to show the true power of his kind. He become obsessed with the idea of using his powers as a weapon and focused on the psycho-manipulation of objects leading to a strong telekinetic ability and found that if he concentrated hard enough he could even manipulate the molecules themselves giving him the ability to manipulate the heat of the object even throw its molecules apart, however this was a massive drain of his “life force” and left him weak for hours afterward as he soon discovered this was something he could not change. Finally when he was nearly 300 he found the portal in Germany’s black forest with the help of a pack of werewolves who were also seeking the portal. Once he had crossed through to Ris’mos he found it to be closer to a utopia than he had expected and he took to travelling Ris’mos using the portals to spy on earth finding it to be more detestable with each visit. The humans became more and more closed minded and violent as time progressed. Unlike in Ris’mos where the various species lived and worked together side by side. His sense of hatred and xenophobia toward the humans only grew but he still visited the their realm as he enjoyed the differences from Ris’mos on a intriguing level such as the vampire society here and their clans. Remembering his younger days he used his position working for the emissary to track through the documents of the old bloodlines finding that in 500 years he had forgotten his own heritage … Edited by Leon, Dec 22 2008, 06:32 PM.
