The cold morning of December 24th, Jaden was born. Three hours later, she was abandoned in an alley by her parents, J and Adele Hale. and hour following, She was discovered by Demix, then just a beginning hunter at Casa Di Eterno, and she was taken in. He hid her in secret, but the current house leader, nearly 450 years old, named Coal smelt the newborn right away. Instead of punishing Demix and killing Jaden, He took them both under his wing. Within the first 5 years of Jaden's life, it became clear to her what her parents did, and what she must do to find them. It then became her running obsession. Jasper, only 3 years older, was placed in training. The more she spent with him, the more her anger faded. But it never died. At the age of 15, she became coupled with Jasper. They are happy. At the 25 year mark (half of her current life) She excelled as the houses chief hunter, with pride at her calling. She and Jasper hunted side by side. She used her adept abilities frequently, hoping to find a lead to her parents. This did not go unnoticed by Jasper. 2 years later, Jasper discovered he could tell the future, in a way. His intuition was hardly ever off the mark. He kept watch over Jaden, and what he saw, her endless desperation, put a strain on their coupling. At the age of 47, Jasper got better at controlling his subtle ability, and Jaden got better at hiding hers. She wasn't going to lose him over her retched parents. They returned from hunting that same year, May 2nd, to find that Coal had passed, leaving Demix in charge. Their new regime took some getting used to. It included humans a lot more. Though Jaden hated both, she had a taste for the undead blood. At 50, the weres became more noticed in the house. Demix felt unease. Jaden felt curiousity. The more she watched them as she found them, the more it seemed familiar. A few months later, She had found a lead to her parents, and she was off, Jasper in tow. |
