 Character Name:Tauklin Rikasdaughter Age: 427 years Species: Dragon Job: None usually, though she will ocasionaly let her strength be hired out if she is in desperate need of money. Relationships: Tauklin has lived most of her life as a loner. Ever since her mother died she's had to look out for herself. She did once find a young human child, and did her best to take care of him. He became the only friend she's ever had and his death hurt her more than anything else ever has. Family: All of Tauklin's family are now dead, though the only one she ever met was her mother, Rika. Physical Description: Dragon form: Tauklin is a medium size dragon of the Western variety. She is somewhat more slender than average and she sometimes has a slightly gangly appearance resulting from Malnutrition. At first glance her scales appear white but they are actually a very pale pink. Her pupils are slit like a cat's and the surrounding iris is a pale glassy blue. Her wings are very long which, while cumbersome on the ground, makes her a great flier, capable of amazing aerial manoeuvres and on her head there are two sharp, backwards-facing horns. Humanoid form: As a humanoid Tauklin is of average height and slightly skinny, much like her dragon form. She has delicate, pretty features and a look about her that makes others want to care for her. Her skin and hair are the exact same colour as her scales. Her eyes are the same glassy blue, but the pupil is slightly rounder which allows her to blend in more easily. Her two top canine teeth are elongated and sharp, giving them a fang-like appearance. In general she wears cheap, practical clothes. she prefers simple dresses that can easily be carried around in dragon form. She almost always remains bare-footed. She looks about 19 or so. Personality: For a dragon, Tauklin is extremely shy and nervous. She prefers to stay away from company if she can, though she is always slightly bolder in dragon form. It is very hard for Tauklin to trust anyone, but she has a kind and gentle nature and will help someone if need be. She's a intelligent and very good at thinking quickly; if there's a way out of a bad situation, Tauklin will usually find it. She has a great craving for knowledge, and spends hours of every day exploring in search of new things. Skills: -Tauklin is a fantastic flier; she can fly very fast for long periods of time and out manoeuvre most opponents. -Like most dragons, Tauklin can breathe a certain element; in her case, ice. She retains this ability even in humanoid form. - She is usually able to tell when she's being lied to - a skill she's picked up merely by living a long time and gaining a lot of experience with dishonest people. - In turn she's learned to be a good liar. History: Tauklin was born in the year 1582 high up in the Himalayas on Earth. She never met her father, who left before she hatched. Her mother, Rika, brought her food until she was old enough to hunt for herself, and even then the two dragons stayed and hunted together in the same territory. However, in the year 1631 they were spotted and a group of knights were sent to kill them. Rika, who was out flying at the time, saw the knights approaching and flew back to warn her daughter of their approach. It was too late though, the ignorant humans tore through the dragons' cave and overwhelmed Rika, who prtoected her daughter till her last breath. The man would have then cintinued and killed Tauklin, but at the last minute she transformed into her human form for the first time and escaped down a small tunnel in the rock face. the knights, who had no idea dragons were capable of transforming, were merely baffled by her dissappearence and left. Alone, frightened and grieving for her mother, Tauklin wandered down to a human town and colapsed. The people took pity on this skinny, naked girl and cared for her until she was brought back to consciousness. Tauklin panicked when she woke. She had been taught to fear humans all her life and now she found herself in one of their homes. She also didn't understand a word they said. She escaped after a few days and changed back to a dragon. She eventually flew across a portal and found herself in Ris'mos. She felt safer in this new World and decided to stay there. Since then she has flown to every corner of Ris'mos and eventually decided to settle on the outskirts of Ris'mos city. She occasionaly takes humanoid form and ventures in, but she rarely stays there long. |
