This is just a thread for talking about pets. List your own pets and tell funny stories about what they do, or ask questions and possibly get helpful tips and advice. So here goes; I have one zebra finch called Speedy, One guinea pic called Snowy, Numerous fish and A cat called Felix. Felix is an odd cat. My family and I enjoy going on walks on the hills near my home, and Felix will always follow us like a dog. He doesn't like to go too far though; if we go out of his "territory" he just sits down and meows until I pick him up and carry him home. |

All I've got currently is my Fae Fae...she's a pipsqueak of an animal that...although genetically shes canine...we have our doubts...sometimes its like shes a cat or rabbit incarnate...anywho, Bichon Frise is the breed, all of 13 pounds, more bark than bite...and you'll get snuggled to death... She's got this thing we like to call "Joy in the mornin" Where she jumps up on your bed...and pounces you until you wake up. Hyperactive little thing, she'll run laps around the house as soon as she hears the front door...and she does jump but...only to your knees....so most people just laugh. I never was a pet person really...but then we got her and I fell in love instantly...well...20 minutes after I'd dropped a gate on her the day she came home...>.> BUT SHE STILL LOVES ME!!! She also, loves sleeping on warm laptops....so sometimes if I'm talking to people she'll stop by and say hello...teehee. Or...when I'm replying...she seems fascinated with laptops actually, like if you're sitting on the floor she'll totally come up behind you on the couch and rest her head on your shoulder to see what you're doing... I HAD a beta fish...I love them suckers...First I'd gotten one for a school project with my friend Kate...it was like an agricultural fair so we did like...floral design and beta fish gardens...fun stuff right? Then like...4 years later we went for an afternoon of shopping and dinner...(in pretty dresses mind you) and at like 9:30PM we decide to run to the pet store and buy fish...just...for the hell of it..."two dressed up girlies walk into a pet store....." haha. and the pet store closed at 10...then we realized we needed distilled water for them...so we had to run to the grocery store...which ALSO closed at 10...and I was supposed to be home by like 9 because I had to be out the next morning early...etc etc...hah. It was good times...anywho, he died. His name was Freckles (and hers was Ginger) Ginger died too...<3 Yeah, fun pet stories! In high school I was in an agricultural program and we had everything from snakes to rabbits...and I LOVED the chinchillas...wanted one SO bad...but yeah...I know about quite a few animals, my friend bred guinea pigs, and plenty of my friends had....*shudders* chickens....*twitch* them buggers scare me. |

I have a puppy! She's...well I can't remeber how old she is. She's not really a puppy, we just say shes a puppy cuz shes cute, like my baby. |

I've got two cats ^^. One is a cranky old girl by the name of Kitty. Well her name was something else but she only responded to Kitty so that's what she got called. She's going to be seventeen this summer. Our other cat is Loki. He's my big boy. Unfortunately he lives up to everything his name implies. He's a mischievous little sot that one. |

You have a zebra, Tauklin? How cool is that!  The coolest animal we ever had was a llama.Sounds like you're going to have some trouble with the Loki cat Lunaria.

Who can resist talking about their pets? So I am currently in NC, looking for a job. With me I have my cat Simba, he is thirteen years old, I have had him since I was six years old. Funny story about him is when we got him we believed him to be a girl. So I had named his Rosy. One day I was playing with him and suddenly I yelled 'Oh my god Ma, Rosy has balls!' At that time I was into the whole Lion King phase, so I named him Rosy. Now back home in WI, I have two German Shepards. Nayla is a black and tan shepard and she is more like the family dog. My dog, RJ is a white shepard. I actually taught him to box. ^^ And he always sleeps in my ma's room in front of her bed, so if anyone needs to talk to my ma they have to stand just outside the door cuz if they walk in without her saying come in RJ will growl. He does it even to me. Which is good, I taught him to be like that cuz I knew one day I would go off to college and ma would need someone to look out for her, so RJ only truly listens to Ma. Though he will listen to me in all things but when he is guarding ma's bed. My brother and I have taken in strays over the years as well. We have also owned snakes, a bearded dragon. Though I had to give her away, Soul was by far my favorite. When I gave her away, she was nine feet and about 25-30 pounds.... She was an albino burmese python.  Yea I love snakes. But yea anyways, those are and were my pets. |
