Hello, new member here. I'm having a bit of a difficulty. I'm generally a Proboards gal, and this is my first time using Invisionfree. On Proboards you have the option to change what your username displays. You can change what your username looks like to everyone else, but your logg-in name will always be the same. I thought that was a feature that could be used in Invisionfree sites as well. Yet I've checked the "My Controls" quite thoroughly and cannot find the option. Is there an option such as I've stated and I'm just a tad blind? Or is there no option and I'm stuck with my crappy username for all eternity? ^^; Yeah, thanks very much in advance to anyone who can help! ((-sighs- I hate being the needy newbie...)) |

Lol dont worry bout it, it is possibly but only admins have that option, so if you tell myself or roz what you wish your new user name to be we can change it for you, just let me know when you decide. |

Oh, phew! I was getting very worried :ph43r: I have my -actual- username all picked out, I just like to sign up with a shorter one so that I don't have to type in twenty characters everytime I try to sign on--you know? Ok i changed your member name but it turns out that your changed member name also changes your log in name as well, so your log in name is now Chanterelle as well. Thiers no way to override that option so i hope it isnt that much of a problem. Sorry. |
