Secondary Character Bios F.A.Q. What are Secondary Characters? Secondary Characters are characters that are created by members already established on Broken Worlds. These characters can be characters for part of a storyline, or just another shot at a new species. Secondary characters may also be temporarily created characters for just one roleplay, or for a certain number of posts. They can be created as a supplemental character to help a story move along also. In a nutshell, Secondary Characters are pre-written characters that are used in certain plots to make a story move along. Why create Secondary Characters? This is mainly created so that members can create independent story lines, and have their stories played out more effectively. You can create a secondary character to be played by yourself with a separate account. How many Secondary Characters can i create? You need 50 posts to start a secondary character, and then 25 posts for every one after that. At this time, you can create and portray 3 secondary characters at one time. Once a character is killed off, you can start a "4th." We ask this so that no one gets overwhelmed with too many characters. You need 50 posts on your main account before you can create 1 secondary character, 75 posts on your main before a 2nd secondary character, and 100 posts on your main before your third secondary character and so on... We want to see that you are using your main character first. (Be advised, as admins we know when someone has multiple accounts and can track this.) How long am I obligated to portray this sub-character? Secondary characters tend to have "lifespans" but not always, these characters are destroyable, but you need the permission of the writer to have the character killed. Writers must do the following:
Can a secondary character become an emissary? Secondary characters are not allowed to become emissaries. Your first account is your only shot at this. Note: All secondary character accounts must comply with all of the rues established for primary accounts including rules about activeness and action taken if character is inactive.
