Hey, just asking about my charrie I'd like - don't worry if you don't like the idea or whatev, I'm completely flexible and can just change her. I made her on another forum a couple weeks ago, but that forum is now highly DEAD *sobs* *is gutted* so yesh. I asked for permission there too... Ohk, this is Khimyra. Basically human, but notably different. As interesting (probably boring, sorry) background info. Her name Khimyra is a ruination of the word 'chimera', which is what she is. (Remember, if you don't want this, I'll change her to something else. I'm always modifying charries from RP to RP.) A chimera, in genetics, is... uhm... lessee, I'll just get a wikipedia def for that, I suck at explaining things >.< ...okay, useless. Too many big words. Eh bien. Essentially, a chimera is a being with DNA from more than one different organism. I've heard of this sorta thing IRL, a mouse/human chimera - a mouse made with human brain cells or human brain stem cells or something like that. The article made me sick - the opinions and thoughts - but that's not my question. Khimyra is a bird/human chimera... I have no idea if you can access this RP without membership, but whatev. It's pretty much dead anyways. This is her profile I made for that site; I'd modify it heaps of course for this site, especially background etc. None of the whatever-that-long-name-was group thingy. That was something discussed with the admin xD http://z13.invisionfree.com/Shinku_Sakeme/...p?showtopic=174 I guess her part in THIS world, this RP, is that she is made in some lab (I can fully imagine someone trying that IRL sometime in the not-too-distant-future) on Earth, as an experimental thingie, and escaped, or something. She is shunned by the community at large because of her differences; they are scared of new things, they fear her, and although some view her as an angel, others view her as something evil, to be killed. An outsider on her own world... I have no idea where it goes from there, I suppose I'd RP and see what happens. *shrug*  What think? |

I like the idea! The only change/request I would make is to change her to part of one of the bird species that we have. (Which would be Harpies, Sirens, Pheonix [or even an elemental of some sort if you'd like]) Just to fit into Ris'mosian lifestyles. Othewise its great! Just so you're aware, you wont be able to qualify for emissaryship though. (Governmental posisiton after 50 posts). If you're fine with all of that, then go ahead. (I hope I didnt put too many restrictions on you...>.<) |

That's cool!! The emissary thing is fine; I can always create a sub-char and have that chance anyways. I have to go now, being 9.30 PM, my 'offline-time'. (Well, it's actually 9.40, extra reason why I should go right now >.< ) But yesh. I shall do that; look through the descriptions of the bird species and choose one. What would you say to an addition to er background, based on that: scientists in this lab (and this would have happened like... maybe 20 years ago... and shes 16 or 17... allows for their screw-ups, hahaha) havingmanaged to see, find and captured [bird species, whcih I shall choose tmorrow]... extracted DNA, etc, experimented on said bird species thing. But kept it secret; jealously guarding their secret while they find out more about this strange creature... ...and they've been thinking about trying out a bird-/human chimera, and think, why not try it with THIS? eventually Khimyra is created. I suppose eventually whatever-it-was-they-captured eventually died/got killed throguh their experimenting/was terminated by them... and since then, on the quiet, they've been trying to figure out where the original [bird-creature] had come from... mwahahaha danger to Ris'mos. Well, sort of. PLUS, they could spill the beans on what they found at any minute. But would people believe them anyway? They have photos, but they are so easy to fake, these days... and the specimen [as they call it] died awhile ago... infact, [by this time...] they don't even have Khimyra, since she escaped from them. They're looking for her, too. *shrug* Thought this up on the spot!! Didn't even think it up, THEN type it out... just typed, thought of more, typed more. Haven't time to read it over it my parents are coming now much sorry for any typos I made!!!!!!!1 My typing's terrible wehn I'm trying fast!! Tell me what you think!! Thansk for approving the idea, anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to have quite a bit of this worked out. And I have to say that it is a VERY COOL IDEA!!! Ahem... Now that I have that out of the way... Welcome, I'm Sanach. I think you have the start of a very cool char and I can't wait to see your rps. And don't feel bad about the typos... I make them all the time and I don't think the admins here (a.k.a. Roz and Anok) don't mind them too much... |

Ah, thankee much Rah for making stuff up on the spot... I wrote all that, then headed off, went to bed around 11, sat there going 'damn, can't even remember what I wrote, hope it wasn't too stupid >.< ' Yahh, I can't wait to start RP. I'll get my char bio up ASAP, which means within the next month. I'm hopeless at getting them up fast. Probably, I'll use most of the one I used on the other RP (which seems to be miraculously revived, I went there yesterday and it gave me a horrible fright). Hope to RP with you soon!! |
