Character Name: Leonidas Pierpont, Jr. Age: 23 Species: Human Job: Air Force fighter pilot Relationships: None Family: Mother Michelle, 55, Father Leonidas Sr., 48, Sister Jen, 18, Brother, Mark, 16 Physical Description: Leo is a sound fellow. He stands at about 6 feet and has short brown hair. He is athletically built from being in the military and seen by some to be handsome looking.  Personality: Leo has his quiet times, and a lot of them. He doesnt like being the center of attention unless he is forced to or needs to be. This is part of the reason why he adopted the nickname 'Leo' in recent times, after the movie 300, many would center their attention on him, as his name was both relatively rare and the name of the main character of the movie. When he needs to be outspoken, however, he will be. When he is flying, of course, he will not hesitate to converse with his commander. When he needs to figure out something, he'll walk right up to strangers and ask, strangers he wouldn't otherwise talk to. With friends he is one of the funniest people around, as well. He's a skeptic in many areas, and his belief in God and his other religious views are about as far into the supernatural as he buys. He's flown many missions and exercises right over the Bermuda Triangle, and come back every time thus far. Although he had heard and witnessed some strange things in that patch of sea, his skeptical mind writes it all off as possibly the effect of high g-forces on his body from his fighter or the whine of some stressed part of his plane. Skills: Piloting, marksmanship with firearms, hand-to-hand combat (taught to him in the military), mechanics, astronomy (hobbyist since childhood), telekinetic (he hasn't a clue, but it's helped him in becoming a good pilot) History: Leonidas Pierpont was born to a rather average family on a rather average day in a rather average town. Nothing was ever special about him, except that the boy knew what he wanted to do. From the very first time he heard the phrase, he wanted to be an astronaut. He devoted his childhood to astronomy and space science, and eventually went to the Air Force Academy and joined the Air Force with the hopes of one day becoming a pilot on a space shuttle. Soon after graduating the academy, Leo was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and given a fighter to fly - a Harrier AV8 (something rare to the Air Force). Stationed at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Leo has worked closely with the Navy, making many landings on carriers and racking up more flight time than many of his colleagues. He is one of the best Harrier pilots around, though with the lack of many Harrier pilots, the competition is arguably very little. |
