 Character Name: Grey Murnan Age: Unknown. Species: Half light Angel, half dark Angel. Job: Toymaker / Bookseller. Relationships: Hasn't had one in several decades. Family: One half-sister on her mother's side, Dulais Murnan. Her mother is Melcia Murnan, a dark Angel. Her father is Albin Amshel, a light Angel. Physical Description: Grey has huge grey wings, shimmery grey eyes, and dark charcoal-grey hair. (Born of both a dark and light angel, she is neither black nor white, but grey - she was named for this, obviously.) Her hair is cut short and choppy (and, admittedly, badly) and often falls into her eyes. She has fair skin and is tall and slim. Personality: Sullen; quiet; intelligent, but rarely understands other people; shy; thoughtful, pensieve; nervous; deceptively strong and very capable. Skills: Grey is a masterful toymaker, making children's playthings that are obviously a bit magical. She also carries on her father's bookselling business and is a capable business-woman. History: Grey is the result of the unwise pairing between a dark and light angel. As a result, she belongs nowhere. She is too light for Hell, too dark for Heaven. Immortal, she lingers on Earth. She was raised chiefly by her mother, Melcia, a demon's handmaiden, but no longer stays in contact with her. She has not seen her father since he was taken back into Heaven after chastisment and punishment for fathering a half-dark daughter. When she left her mother, Grey brought with her her younger sister Dulais so the girl wouldn't be too influenced by Melcia. Also, she really loved her little sister and didn' want to leave her. She now lives alone except for Dulais. She works as a toymaker, utilizing her talent for the small, household spells she's learned from the numerous books in her father's old bookshop. Grey has never met another angel besides her father, mother, and sister and hopes to someday. She's extrovertly very placid, but deep inside she aches for change. The light and dark components of herself make her very confused as to what she really wants. |
