I grew out of playing with dolls and don't care about continuing my line. Humanity ultimately is incapable of having any importance to anything other than itself and humanity is of no importance, therefore no human actions are important. Better not to bring children, like I said, into a world in which they're a detriment & have to live through the moral corruption, suffering and inequality of our society.

You can teach them all you want when they're young, but at a certain age they develop the ability to think for themselves. For all you know, that child that you want now could grow up to murder their sibling and plan to murder you in order to inherit your money. Or they could be a Republican. :mg As for jobs... while I'm not so naive as to think that I'll marry the boyfriend I have when I'm 16... he wants to cure Altzheimer's while I want to be a writer so which one of us do you think would get stuck taking care of the kids? :P

I still don't get why republicans criticize democrats for slightly raising taxes, whereas they cut the taxes for rich people. Since their motto is pretty much

"We help those who already have the means to help themselves. :]"

and dont even start about moral corruption, suffering, and inequality of society with me. you live in fuckin north america. i live in egypt. come to this shitty country, and then youll understand corruption, suffering, and inequality.

and as for the children thinking for themselves, a kids mind is heavily influenced by their parents, and how they were brought up.

girls are sluts because daddy didnt love them enough. kids become thugs and criminals because mommy and daddy didnt give them attention. kids are spoiled shits who think they can get anything they want because mommy and daddy gave them everything they asked for.

Metal i completely agree. However Mushy has the right to do as she wishes. And if she wants to think like that let her. I mean she 16 now and no girl really wants to think about having kids at 16 because it is possible, and she could change her mind later on. :]

Dude! If you're bored, take up skydiving or driving at high speeds or some other entertaining midlife crisis activity! Don't choose to change diapers and struggle for two hours to get your kids to bed. :P

In my talk of inequality, suffering etc. I was refering to human society, not Canadian society. I'm assuming that, regardless of their own lifestyle, my kids would be informed enough for world issues to bother them... in terms of moral corruption I was definitely thinking of western society though.

I don't agree with all of your points about the influence of parents. There's no question that it's the fault of the parents if the kid ends up spoiled. But I believe that the slut issue stems a lot more from the influence of a girl's peers and the image that she's formed of herself based on their opinions. I don't think that self-esteem has much to do with the parents when you're a teenager.
