The school system is obviously horrible. It has so many downsides it's unbearable. But the reason why we even have the school system at all is so we learn how to interact with other humans, because that's what life is about isn't it.

You don't have to be the most popular person. As long you can maintain a conversation and is good at public speaking then you should have no problems for the most part. Of course, the better the social skills, the easirr things are in that aspect. But I wouldn't stress way too muh abot that. Some people are more shy or quiet, or loud and outgoing. As long you can maintain a good conversation and leave a good impression then it's all good. Besides, most of your colmunication relies on your expressions and body language... Learn those too, it will benefit yoh greatly. School seems okay, some teenagers are well... Silly.. Or need some more growing up to do but it'll always be like that. Human nature. However the education system could use improvement. As for the teachers, they're people so you can't xo much about that. They vary lile the teens... |

It's stupid to say popular kids though. Like if the school's big enough and there actually are individuals that are decently respected/well liked accross the school, by all means refer to them as popular, but I see a lot of cases where these fake douche bags that just go around being obnoxious to everyone and live to get drunk on the weekends and fight with eachother, then argue about it all week until next weekend when they do it all over. Like sure if you're whole school is like that and those kids are looked up to I guess you can say they're ppular, but if you're in a smaller school and over 50% of the school thinks those kids are total asshats, then they AREN'T FREAKING POPULAR. YOU'RE NOT POPULAR IF EVERYBODY HATES YOU. You're just some dopey preppy party kid and/or jock, depending on your athletic ability. Haha it really annoys me when people humour rude kids nobody likes with the term ppular because they're just so media brainwashed... that said I've gone to a series of school that were too small for any real "popular clique" there's always a group of jocks/obnoxous preppy party people that think they're cool and another group of the school's scum that are just dirty disgusting junkies that think they're cool/badass, but I both cases they're just dillusional. if 60-70+% of your school thinks you're a complete douche you're not cool or popular, you're the exact opposite, no? And I'm not saying 70% of the school is the opposite of the popular sterotype, it just there's the band kids, the computer/tecky kids, and my last school had a lot of them, and then there's the random others. Like I guess the closest thing to "average/normal" the kids that can just hang out with whoever they want to and aren't all caught up in jocky sports or obnoxiously walking around talking about how wasted they got at the party and/or obsessing gossiping about the rest of the school like the obnoxious preppy party peeps... lmao... Like I hate those kids that think they're such a big deal and go around gossiping and dissing everyone else, like really if you're so cool, why are you the one creeping them, they clearly have better things to do than try and knock everyone else down to compensate for their false persona and low self esteem like you do... lmao Just because the school is small enough doesn't mean you need to keep tabs on everyone and judge them based off of virtually nothing. lmao Labels are sooo stupid. That said, the flaws people see with the social aspects of school are flaws in the youth of today and our society at large. A lot of people are just nasty and bitter and try and bring other's down for some sick pleasure that makes them feel good in some toxic twisted way, which is terrible and totally pathetic. If you bring innocent others down for no reason other than to feel better about yourself, you're a miserable waste of space... And it's a shame that our society is so jaded and full of that insensitivity. But taht venomous aspect of society is inescapable. People, and especially children, can be cruel, and it's inevitable, if not in school you're almost completely bound to encounter it elsewhere... -DaniCirca |
