I think it's scientifically proven that everyone is 10% homosexual. Some more then others, etc etc. I remember my Religion teacher saying that once. Although, the Religion teacher I have now, says "we should love everyone" which I like, however, the bible states otherwise of course.

That isn't what I was implying. I was wondering whether you really think that about girls or whether you were being ironic by stating the stereotypical view that women have of men. I didn't think that I would ever see a guy bemoaning the notion that a girl wouldn't want to have a relationship.

Are we to just accept homosexuals then? It's a bit callous for me to make this comparison, but would you accept a psychopath - or whatever the term is - just because he/she is "born that way"? I understand people of the same gender may have feelings for each other, but I'm thinking that's as far as they should go. Homosexuality is a bit...too far don't you think? How does it even make sense? Two guys/girls can't reproduce with each other. Right, and I just had to bring up this video.

Psychopaths murder people. Homosexuality may make people uncomfortable, but it's not harmful to anyone. The reproduction argument is really only one that you can use if you're also going to argue against birth control and the right of people to get married if they don't want kids. Heterosexuals have sex all the time without the intent to reproduce.

A homosexual person would have the same "feelings" towards someone of their own gender as someone of the opposite gender, yeah they can't reproduce together, but you could make the same argument for teenagers. They can reproduce, yes, but that's not their intention, so is that really a good reason to not be together? And as Mushy said, psychopaths kill people....gay people...are gay, and that's all. o_o If people don't like it, I don't know why they just can't let them live their lives, it's not like they're going to hurt you. And to be honest, I'd rather see two guys holding hands in public, than two straight people rolling around on the ground making out or something. o_o It's happened. It's pretty annoying. |

I was at a dance the other day, and quite frankly, a girl and guy were literally dancing on top of each other. Excessive grinding. o_o It was akward to look at. We had joked that they might aswell have sex on the dance floor if they wanted to be that close to each other's sexual organs. |

Well, I'm not in any position to lecture anyone about marriage, seeing how I'm not married myself. What I'm concerned about is, why do people do such things for sexual pleasure? I mean, we aren't made to have sex with people of the same gender right? We might as well go have sex with monkeys or squirrels.

First of all most psychopaths don't murder people. I have no problem with homosexuality. I do find that we're all at least attracted to both sexes to be true. I'm straight but I do know when a girl is pretty XD To me this is all normal. My mom had two gay roomates so I grew up with it. They just both happened to be in love, there's nothing wrong with that. Now they have a family:) they adopted two little boys(the boys were abused in their previous home) and they are great parents. I know the kids will get picked on but I have faith that this will be handeled properly(they're taking courses and getting guidance... Afterall not many are that accepting). I really don't see what the big fuss is. A person could be attracted to a monkey for all I care. However, I'd rather be in the dark about the monkey situation. People just need to broaden their mind and not be so rigid. It's just like how people think of love=sex but that's another topic. Just embrace who you are and others are! |

That's true... many psychopaths don't murder people. I still wouldn't want to hang out with one though.

WTF is that "psychopath" analogy. Psychopathy is a MENTAL DISORDER, homosexuality is NOT A DISORDER OF ANY SORT. Besides, not all personality disorders are "dangerous" or "unacceptable". You're implying that we should lump people with OCD, ADHD, phobias or any various disorders into the same bin as a psycho killer. Sure it might be weird and throw people off at first, but they are generally harmless. Mushy. Yes, I've read an article about how they wanted to classify introversion as a 'disorder' and define it as "a lack of extraversion". WTF. Also, when I tried to explain to my coworker why I don't enjoy going out as often as he does and would probably become a right cunt by the third night if you drag me out 3 days in a row, he was just like... rolling his eyes, dismissing the notions of extraversion and introversion as I was explaining it as 'hippy science' and basically said that so called normal people are supposed to be outgoing and extraverted. Basically, relegating it to the level of mental disorder, just like how people are doing the same for homosexuality in this thread. There is a nuance... |

The term psychopath doesn't include disorders like OCD, at least not in any usage of it that I've ever heard. It's just the informal term for antisocial personality disorder. Is that the same coworker who made that remark about your arms being hairy? Stop talking to that ass. It sounds like he could use some introspection himself.
