Is it because i'm Scottish? Well i found out....... See my dad was a trekky. "beam me up Scottie." Ya so they named me Scott because of this and my mom agreed because Scott means Scotsmen. I love my name but come on, i was named because of star trek. Anyways why were you given your name? If you don't want to tell us your name cough mushy * cough* that is fine.

My mom loved the name instantly. Kirsten, the way my name is pronounced is Irish, the other way of pronouncing Kirsten is Danish. Either way it's one of the many variants of the Greek name Christine.
