I just found this song today. It's now my all-time favourite. This is the only time it was ever played. The original song was by a guy called Leadbelly in 1944.
So yeah, enjoy the greatest preformance of mankind...

I actually really don't like it, especially considering Nirvana delivered way more powerful performances in that same concert, like Lake of Fire is uber eeiry, but it's still pretty stellar, it kinda creeps me out, but on the flip side it's pretty excellent, the creepiness almost makes it more powerful: That is arguably the signature performance on that concert. I'm actually really surprised someone who pretended to be KC is just discovering the Unplugged performances... that's like Nirvana 101 right up there with Nevermind!
I guess the other really known performance would be The Man Who Sold the World, which is also decent:
This isn't unplugged, but I think my fave Nirvana tune for sheer intense effect would be Drain You: That solo/prelude part is simply stellar!

I've watched pretty much all of Unplugged, I just never saw the song I posted until yesterday. And yeah, Lake of Fire and Drain You are great songs too.
Seriously though, nobody says "stellar" anymore.

LOL You can't write off stellar as if it's some passe and/or lame term like "Epic", "Rad", "Wicked", "Sweeet", "Sick", etc. Stellar's never been in overly heavy use. It's like excellent, splendid, fantastic. Everyone knows what they mean, it's just a lot of people aren't classy and/or cultured enough to ever go beyond "Awesome!" or making some lame allusion to an orgasm like you did.
Stellar is still a perfectly relevant term, maybe your IQ is just too low!

Hey, if you want to talk like a surfer in the 1990's, who am I to judge?

sideswipes, what did you live like 2 years of your life in the 90s? Jchans is older than ME, i think he knows what was popular in the 90s, and believe me, stellar has never been a "fasionable" saying. It's just an option.

Exactly, it's never been an overhyped term, and I think it's ridiculous to try and berate people for breaking outside the standard stereotypical terms.
Seriously SideSwipes, don't mock me just because I have a excellent grasp of the beautiful English language, it's not my fault you have an inferior vocabulary and absolutely no idea how surfers (past or present) talk.(lol btw, since you're apparently having trouble keeping up, that was supposed to sound pompous/arrogant for comedic effect[comedic means humourous, which dumbed down is "funny stuff", just incase, since you're having trouble with a lot of other basic words... ) Stellar is a term that's often used by people in the rock/punk/etc scene to describe a performance, it's never been brutally over used by idiots such as yourself, but it's not outdated, seriously, try doing some reading once in awhile, you see it in reviews and stuff all the time.
lmao I don't even get how surfers could use the word stellar... XD
They mostly talk like skaters when it comes to adjectives... I don't even know when they'd use it much... however applying it to a rock performance is perfectly normal. An excellent couple steps up from "eargasm".
lol I find it embarassing that you're trying to degrade the use of a more vast set of words. Why waste all the great words we have and constantly use the overused stereotypes(or made up words like "eargasm in your case). I use them too, but I think it's important(and comendable) to change it up and make use of your freaking vocabulary. It's mentalities like your that will make everyone think you're stupid.
-DaniCirca PS. Sorry I called you an idiot, that was mean. As for the rest, I'm not mad or anything, but I'm serving it to you uncut and straight up.
