The Head Council: Shodai Kage // The Leader: - Pai Mei [NPC] Nidaime Kage // Vice Leader, the 2nd in Command: - Miyamoto Musashi [NPC] Sandaime Kage // Military Adviser, the Military Commander, the 3rd in Command: - Jiraiya Gotetsu [NPC] Yondaime Kage // Medical Adviser, the Medical & Health Commander, the 4th in Command: - Kato Danzo [NPC] Godaime Kage // Political Adviser, the Political & Politics Commander, the 5th in Command: - Sarutobi Sasuke [NPC] Rokudaime Kage // ANBU Adviser, the Special Assisgnment, Assassination, and Tactical Squad Commander, the 6th in Command: - Hattori Hanzo [NPC] The Ranks: There are 4 titles and 20 seated numbers, which both act as a rank as a whole. Titles such as Sannin, Jonin, etc are general ranks. To specify ranks, they're seats, which are in a number from 1 to 20, the lower the number the higher the rank. Example: 1st Seat Sannin is higher than a 2nd Seat Sannin or 3rd Seat Jonin is higher than a 4th Seat Jonin, etc. Also. There is only one Sannin per Division, meaning only 13 people in White Lotus will be Sannin. The position of Sannin can be challenged though. Sannin // Captain: Literally meaning "Legendary Ninja"; The Sannin are widely regarded for their great skill and power, each one has the level of being a Kage in their own right; each has been considered for the position of Kage at different points in time, with one of them obtaining the title. They are also a representative of the regular shinobi forces, they are a member of the council, giving them a say in important matters such as choosing a new Kage. They have also extensively-trained, if not mastered combat, to be effective in battle. Most captains are also skilled in the use of Materia, and even Summons, and generally have extensive knowledge of White Lotus and Wutai history and battle tactics. All of these factors create a vast power-gap between captains and lower-ranked officers. - Uniform: Haori, long sleeve, short sleeve, or no sleeve. The haori must bare the color of the Sannin's Division. The haori also bares the insignia and rank number of their Division on the back of the haori. - Seated Officers: - 1st Seat: -- N/A - 2nd Seat: -- N/A Jonin // Commander: Literally meaning "High Ninja"; are generally highly-experienced shinobi with great individual skill who serve as military commanders. They are often sent on A-Rank missions, and experienced Jônin may even be sent on S-Class missions (which are considered to be the greatest difficulty). It is not unusual for Jônin to go on missions alone. When becoming a Jônin, they may be assigned three Genin in their respective Division to look over. One part of their duties is to help instruct and train these Genin to become competent members of White Lotus. - Uniform: A band with the insignia and rank in kanji of the Division. Band can be used as an arm band, head band, leg band, neck band, etc. Can be concealed though must be revealed upon higher ranking officers. - Seated Officers: - 3rd Seat: -- N/A - 4th Seat: -- N/A - 5th Seat: -- N/A Tokubetsu Jonin // Lieutenant Commander: Literally meaning "Special High Ninja"; are ninja who, rather than all-around jônin training, have Jônin-level ability in a single area or skill, much like warrant officers of real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular jônin when their services are needed. - Uniform: A band with the insignia and rank in kanji of the Division. Band can be used as an arm band, head band, leg band, neck band, etc. Can be concealed though must be revealed upon higher ranking officers. - Seated Officers: - 6th Seat: -- N/A - 7th Seat: -- N/A - 8th Seat: -- N/A - 9th Seat: -- N/A Chunin // Lieutenant: Literally meaning "Middle Ninja"; are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chûnin have reached a level of maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. This is because the genin who don't have the skills to become chûnin are weeded out in testing. To become a chûnin, a genin participates in a large examination, known as the Chûnin Exams. Those who pass the test and become chûnin can wear an identifying flak jacket that holds ninjutsu scrolls. This vest is not mandatory; instead, some opt for more elaborate clothing like capes and robes. - Uniform: Flak jacket (vest) with Division insignia on the back and rank in kanji above insignia - Seated Officers: - 10th Seat: -- Mizuki Satsujin - 11th Seat: -- N/A - 12th Seat: -- N/A - 13th Seat: -- N/A - 14th Seat: -- N/A Genin // Recruit: Literally meaning "low ninja"; are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become genin, ninja start to do their bit for their White Lotus's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or, rarely, on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work that have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved. Genin are put in four-man cells or squad, consisting of three genin and a jônin-sensei, in order to learn teamwork and experience true ninja life under the supervision and protection of an elite shinobi. The make-up of these teams is based on the individual skills of the genin, so that there will be a balance between the teams. . Though genin are relatively low-leveled ninja, they can progress to become a chûnin, by successfully completing the chûnin exams, a set of difficult tasks made to test the skills of genin to see whether or not they should be chûnin. - Uniform: Flak jacket (vest) with Division insignia on the back and rank in kanji above insignia - Seated Officers: - 15th Seat: -- N/A - 16th Seat: -- N/A - 17th Seat: -- N/A - 18th Seat: -- N/A - 19th Seat: -- N/A - 20th Seat: -- N/A |
