What does BUMP mean? I think I want to bump it here also! EDIT: the weirdest thing just happened or I'm losing my mind. I was responding to an unregistered user's comment that Cumbrian "BUMPED" -- or that's how it appeared to me. When I went back to check my response after posting, the ORIGINAL comment from Pegofmyheart, or something like that, is gone. ???? So ignore this. |

Patti, To "Bump" (when not combined with grind ) means to move a thread to the top of the board, or to "Bump" it to the top...sometimes when lacking something to say people will just type "Bump". It keeps the topic on top of the board and on everybodies mind. I would "Bump" the A49 Cruzers Fundraiser Thread, but I'm seldom at a loss for words, and it's far to important to just "Bump". Who knows, I may actually say something in posting that makes someone else want to give...perhaps a little bit more than "Bump" would do. Hope this makes sense, D

Patti: Wasn't BUMP a dance?? It's possible that when Cathy R. tightened up the rules for posting....that you have to be a member....that all non-member posts went poof! deleted. Has anyone else noticed that? Are all "Guest" postings now gone? |

Patti, maybe the post was classed as inappropriate for the forum and Cathy, Administrator, deleted it. It was there before, you are not losing it! But have more chocolate anyway!!!

All guest posting are not gone but I did take off that one posting that was not appropriate to the list. I will do my best to monitor but please send me a report if you see others that are not appropriate to this list. Thanks much, Cathy |

I know this has been said here by many of you, but I can't contain myself any longer - "D" you are so funny!! Before I could catch myself, I was just LOL here at work!!! Of course, people could think I was laughing at one of the many joke emails we get, but none are so funny that I lose control. And it's a good thing I was at my home computer when I read last night Bixby's "honey, I shrank the kid" comment and Cumbrian's captions under the photos of the little bird on the branch "you mean I'm not an eagle?" These really struck my funny bone! There are so many more. . .too many to recount! I think I don't post often because I'm just not as funny or clever in my remarks. But I'm always "here" just quietly sitting in the background. Actually, this is just my personality. I am definitely known as the "quiet one" at work. I've learned so much; laughed so hard; loved everything about this group! Thank you, everybody! Now I'll go and check to see if we have had any visitors at the nest today - eagle or otherwise.
