Hello, Dr. Sharpe. I noticed the really nice shirts that the team wore on banding day and that you had on in the Fox DVD. Would it be possible to purchase one of them? Possibly you would prefer to keep those particular shirts for the IWS team. I was just wondering. It could be a fundraiser, I think. |

I want one too if they're for sale. Actually I'll need two since DH will need one as well. |

A woman that put together a fund-raiser for us last fall is now putting together a membership drive for IWS and the t-shirts are one of the things given away for the $100 membership level (I'll hopefully have this all on our website soon. Actually, I'll put the membership brochure on our site today and post the address for you to view it). Anyway, we are getting a bunch of t-shirts made with the IWS logo and maybe we can offer them for a lower contribution level to this group. I'll check once the t-shirts are made. They are going to be green, blue, or gray. Would people be interested for maybe a $35 contribution? |

Rather than a T shirt, can anyone help me find a photo history of Cruz that may be hiding here on the site? For the life of me, after much searching no luck. Dusty |

Peter, I would be interested in $35 T-shirts. You could also make $$$ with A-49 notecards/envelopes included. I just paid $11 per packet of 5 for my other bird cause. If you click on the link below my sig--"Project Bird Watch"--and go into their gift shop, you will see a lot of stuff that raises money for them. That is a live web link below my name/town on my sig. I purchased two packages of cards, plus their $35 DVD--and will continue to buy the notecards...as I would IWS notecards if you provide them. You guys have fantastic photos. In my opinion, this is just waiting to be done~~ Project Bird Watch offers different categories of annual memeberships: individual at $25, or $40 per family, and $100 per business. They offer a lifetime membership donation. Project Bird Watch seems to receive grants...just got the Walt Disney grant & there have been others. Stewart Metz was a (Yale grad) doctor for humans and he fell in love with cockatoos some years ago. It takes a lot of $$$$ to keep these foundations going. He gave up his medical practice a few years ago. Peter, do you have a GRANT WRITER on the IWS team? |

For those of you interested, I've put the IWS brochure that I made for our new membership drive on our web site at http://www.iws.org/IWS%20BROCHURE.pdf. It is about 1.4 MB and you'll need Adobe to read it. |
