I'm able to download the brochure and I have Adobe 5.0, so I'm not sure why some people are unable to get it. I could e-mail it to you directly and see if that works. |

Harpo and anyone else who is having trouble with this, you can right-click on the link and save it to your computer. Then open it from your saved file. I too had problems with freezing, but this worked for me. Good luck! |

I guess we became obsessed with being able to open the link (which just wasn't happening) that not one of us thought of saving it and then opening it! That worked just fine - now I'm in business. Thank you thank you |

Bea: I tried as you suggested...saved the pdf file to my desktop. When I click on it to open, it says it is not a valid Win32 application. What does that mean and why can't I open it? I've been having other Adobe issues as well. If someone sends me a pdf file in an email, I get the message "Access Denied" even though they have not blocked anything. But yet, I can open pdf files from the IRS site with no problem. Are these two issues related? Any ideas? |

Peppermint, I'm sorry, but I have no idea why it didn't work for you. Maybe there is something else going on in your computer since you've had other problems with Adobe? Try saving it somewhere else besides your desktop. Maybe only the link get's saved to desktop, not the file?. Try it. Hubby also suggested that instead of double-clicking to open, right-click on it and choose "open with", and then choose Adobe. Good luck! |

Weird - I had to "save" the brochure on my home computer because neither could open the link! But at work - opened right up! Hmmmm...... Dr. Sharpe: If I do the "Conservation Partner I can get all that is included in that package and for another $35 I can order a 2nd T-shirt (for hubby) so total would be $135 (at the minimum)? I'd like to get the $$ on it's way if so. AND it would all be credited to Cruzers!? Thanks |

Peter, please clarify for me. I am willing to pay $35 for a membership to get a t-shirt. At that point, can I buy the other items separately? I would also like (at least) a couple of hats. |

We are still working on the t-shirts and hats and I'm looking at the tax law to make sure we can legally give them as gifts for certain contribution levels. We hope to have t-shirts, hats, and some nice note cards (pack of 5) available for certain contribution levels in the near future. It won't be necessary to be a member to get these items. I may also have them available through eCatalina.com. I'll let you know as soon as we have things worked out. This will be the first time IWS has ever had these items available to the public. Regarding having the costs of memberships, etc. credited to the A-49 Cruzers, I'm not sure that would work because the Cruzer money is being used to adopt nests, which has certain benefits, whereas the memberships are a separate issue with separate gifts and benefits. |

Glad you could finally get the brochure. If you made a note on the membership form regarding getting an additional t-shirt for the small additional contribution, we would certainly send that along. See above posting regarding Cruzers credit. |
