LBtheScot: Welcome back, are you planning on joining the group going to Santa Cruz Island? I love the Guadalupe area, also Jalama Beach. You really need to check out the Updates from the IWS Crew. Our little ladybird is quite the socialite. Cumbrian: as always thank you for your thoughts. cdn-cdn: I can relate, I'm surprised you didn't get honked at by the oblivious people. But isn't it wonderful when you get to see things like this and the rest of the world drives by ah well oblivious. |

Don't know about the proposal just yet, but if things continue going like they have since last friday it might be possible somewhere down the road. She's joining the board and becoming interested in what we are all about and who we are all about as well. I consider every member of this board a friend. Some of us are taking the trip to the Island, I'm very happy that we are going to Prisoners afterall...thank you to everyone who made that possible. At this time there is one more person going on the trip as we are planning on that together. Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes...it means a lot to me and to Deby as well. D |

cdn-cdn/Cheryl, what a wonderful experience seeing the Snowy Owl. What time of day was it? That was very considerate of the traffic lights actually turning red at the right time for you. Bet some of the other unobservant/oblivious drivers didn't even notice YOU with your head out of the window! |

Well I'll tell you this: coincidentally, all of the 6 houses surrounding us are empty (for sale) can't imagine that we might be bringing down the property value with the glorious calls from our birds. Bixby, be thankful you don't live next door to us. |

Hi all. No sleep yet too much exciting things going on. I got dibs first. on Eagle D's D!...ne ne ne ne Oh no wait that's Dib's ice cream. I am now officially addicted. We sure are a caring bunch. It's such a pleasure being a part of this group. It gives me such a sence of belonging and caring. I'm so glad KLJ in USA told us about the Eagle and I found all of you. Belive me even tho I don't post as often as some of you....I am with you in heart and spirit. I am the first one to run out in whatever I happen to have on at the time to see what cat, dog, bird or child has been hurt or squabbling. These hummingbirds have certainly been telling me a thing or two. So don't feel like you guys are the only ones! After all pj's are clothes..... My little cockatiel has been giving me what for also. I changed his water yesterday and forgot to give him food. Good thing I have a neighbor that keeps her eyes on both of us. I am overwhelmed with Eagle D's good fortune. I knew as nice a guy as he is (consistently) could not go for too much longer without getting snapped up by some smart lady. Good for you Eagle D's D!! Now all we have to do is get him well and back to work and he'll be made in the shade! Ok....little break time and stretch out on the couch for a cat nap...unless the hummingbirds get too loud or the kids get on their scooters for a trip around the complex. |

Sandie, if you aren't sleeping then I sure hope you are resting. No running out in your jammies today girly, you stay in. I live in Ventura and I also have so many hummingbirds. Boy are they territorial, all I do is walk by the mexican sage across my front fence and they attack me. I try to pull weeds around them and they attack me, the dog runs through and they attack her, another hummingbird or just any bird comes near and they attack them. I guess they really like mexican sage and don't want to share. So I hear their chirps all the time, they are noisey. |

I am off to see my little girl in the hospital (she's 33 but still my little girl). So I probably will not be back until tomorrow. Everyone have a wonderful evening and keep an eagle out for any wildlife you may see on your tours and travels. TTFN |

Best wishes for your daughter as well as your cousin, Troth. You are going to be busy looking after them. Cumbrian, I saw the Snowy Owl at 2 p.m.. Eagle D's D. is a perfect nickname. It will be great to have her as part of the forum, Darrell. |

Good morning everyone! I've been busy the past couple of days so had to catch up on some reading didnt I! There was good news (Eagle D's D!) and sad news, Troth and Sandi. and catch up news.... Our spring weather has turned wintery, its even snowing in some parts of Eastern Aust which hasnt happened for a long long time, and not this amount of rain has come down in Sydney area since 1897! We are fine where we are tho and the rain has overflowed our water tank! I'll be on and off most of the day reading up on everyone's else posting, lots of biz work to do online. A very interesting post from someone in the "From where are you watching" area - from someone who has sighted one of the Channel Islands eagles near their home. This could be the eagle that Peter and Eagle D were looking for earlier. They are going to post some photos. |
