Ok you can go to Favorites and click on add to favorites. When the dialog box pops up, remove whatever is in there and paste the above link into it.

You should be able to open up Windows Media Player directly and then choose File->Open URL and put in the link.

Even eagles with wonderful eyesight would find it difficult to see the nest this morning due to the fog.

Here are some great links talking about a nesting pair of eagles at Lake Hemet, practically in our backyard! All the articles are interesting, but the Catalina eagle doesn't make it's appearance until the 2nd article.

That's a nice series Jann. I wonder if the lady mentioned in the last story is whalewatch1 who has posted that she has an eagle in her back yard. Hope we get pictures from him/her today. Is this near Fontana?

Can you imagine looking into your backyard and seeing a Bald Eagle. I would just freak out. And stumble 20 times trying to get a camera. I hope you get a sighting of one Eagel Duo, take a camera with a zoom. . .

Lake Hemet would be about 70 miles from Fontana.

Good Morning all....Very foggy up here is SF as well and doesn't look like it will clear today. Temps inland will be warm but not on the coast. Doesn't surprise me. We haven't hit our "indian summer" weather quite yet. It will come though and be clear, warm and beautiful.
Thanks all for the great pics of eagles today. Nice...can't wait to see one in person when I go on the trip in October :D

I don't think I've seen it this foggy for this long before. Hope this means A49 and friends are getting a nice respite from the heat.

That's like me spying on a pair of ducks!

I live next to a Wildlife Refuge (Big Lake) and I saw a pair of ducks trying to keep their balance in the big oak tree out front.

Ducks, with their webbed feet, aren't too good at that, but they were trying.

I don't know what they were doing in that tree, but I suspect they were trying to get some alone time. Due to the place, it didn't work out and I never got a single picture!

Phooey, I accidentally deleted my post, so this will be short.

Mesowest reports 71 degrees with 93% relative humidity at 10 a.m. at Santa Cruz.

Great links, Jann--looking forward to going into them after I post.

Teri, I would have to sit down if I saw an eagle lurking in the Heights. I'd be yelling, "OMG, there's a Bald eagle." to ANY peeps walking their dogs, themselves, whatever. I think I would probably call the IWS if I saw a tagged eagle, after my shaking stopped. I get so excited over birds...it is kinda...obsessive.

Patti,

What's happened to the bird in your avatar?

It's kind of flattened right now!

Me too, I get excited when I see a redtail hawk, so I know I would lose it if I saw a bald eagle. Let's hope I never see one when I am driving, my head would so be out the window yelling OMG BALD EAGLE!!! as I am swerving all over the road.
