About time for me to sign off.

I may not get a chance to check in tomorrow: we're heading out early to Big Bear for the day to measure and get carpet and tile ordred for the new place, and a bunch of other things related to the move. I'll keep my eyes peeled for eagles with wing bling.

Good night to all, have a pleasant evening.

I want to thank whoever recommended watching "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill."  I rented it over the weekend, returned it on Monday......and bought my own copy so I can watch it again.  Many Thanks.

Hi Pat, where were you able to buy it???

You are welcome, Cockney2! I'm glad you enjoyed it, too!

ElaineRuth: You can order it from Amazon if you can't find it at your local video store. There is also a book. I hope you can find it somewhere because it is really terrific.

Once again, thanks to everyone for all the great posts. And congratulations to everyone! Lots of great things happening -- we made our goal, Hulabird is recognized and rewarded for her contributions to the forum and IWS, EagleD is in love, K-63 returned to the nest . . . okay, maybe Skellis having food poisoning isn't so great, but hopefully it won't last long. (I don't mean to take pleasure from someone's discomfort, but I did get a good laugh at the image of Skellis typing in the bathroom. sorry.)

And to everyone having a rough time -- My thoughts are with you. Hang in there.

Good night everyone!

Have a great trip (guess this answers my question about having a place up there already or not).

Tympani drums are the big kettle drums played in orchestras and bands. I played them in 8th grade and my son played them for two years in high school.

Congratulations Hulabird!!! Maybe you and Patti could just swap houses for a week and take care of each other's birds??

ElaineRuth: I'll post a link tomorrow for Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

Been a long day...goodnight everyone!

Sorry, I haven't been reading the posts very promptly. I was able to get the video
"The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" at Wherehouse. It was in the documentary section and $26.80. They had one copy left if you want it. I can pick it up and mail it to you. Just let me know. You may have already ordered it from Amazon, etc.

Wow, Pat. What a great group we have here! I wish the rest of the world could get along as well as we do!
Anyway, I had never heard of the Wherehouse but I typed in www.wherehouse.com, and there is was. Typed in name of DVD and ..... there it was!! I was able to get one for $13.99 plus $2.95 sh and $1.19 NC tax, which tells me they must have a location here in N.C. I'll have to see where that is.
Anyway Pat, I want to really thank you for the info and for your kind offer! :)

Elaine,
So glad you were able to get it - it is a lovely video. Wherehouse is a video rental/sales store chain. We have a couple of them locally.
We do have a super nice group of eagle lovers. Pat
