Looks like a bright sun and gentle breezes at the nest right now. I hope A49 is feasting on elk or dipping her talons in nice cool water right now... |

There was a little black and white bird at the nest just now. Definetly not a scrub/blue jay. Bigger than that. Got my program opened to take screenshot, and next thing I know, it's gone I was waaaay to slow for that little bird.I'm hanging my head in shame before Cumbrian. How did you guys do it? |

We'd still love to have you come along on our trip to Lake Hemet. Fly on over for the weekend! We'd be more than happy to share our 'inner peace' with you! Just let us know what time your plane gets in....and at which airport!

Hi everyone~ its odd for me when you talk of fog and autumn weather while Oz heads into spring, all my daffs have finished the the bluebells are starting, the golden wattles are in full bloom playing havoc with my sinuses. Today Sydney is wet wet wet, but despite that the King Parrots turned up for a feed, they hang out at the back sliding glass door looking in, saying 'hey! feed us!'. They were so hungry they flew to the table whilst I was pouring the sunflower seeds, I couldve touched them but they dont like that. Today is my Saturday but I am so busy with work I will be sitting at this desk most of the day To be checking in periodically. Bea are you going to post pics of SB Zoo? I love that zoo! Almost as good as our Taronga Park Zoo Sandie & Skiels, hope you are up and at it for the weekend. Fantastic news about the contribution goal being met. I havent bought a DVD yet, I am wondering if it will play on our Oz TV, I know the DVDs I buy from here cant be played on TVs in the US, something to do with TV programming or one has to buy a very expensive TV that has all the country codes. I am going to purchase some Tshirts and hats when Peter sets up the link at iws! Local News: Australia had another iconic death, Peter Brock, racing legend died in a 'Tiger' car race in Perth, he was 61. My hubby is a petrol-head and was very sad to hear this news, he is attending Bathurst Races in October (thats equivalent to Indy500 in Oz) and was hoping to see him (but Peter wouldnt have been racing). Well, I've gassed bagged enough and delayed getting started in my work, catchya all later. KLJinOz

Wow...only two pages of posts to catch up on?? I hope everyone is out and enjoying some lovely weather. The nest is empty too. Maybe Cruz is just out of view lurking like we do! Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers won their first game last night. Hopefully we'll do well again this season. Penn State plays Notre Dame tomorrow at 3:30. PSU is my alma mater. Graduated back in 1988. My dad also went there. I'm pulling for my little ones to some day become Penn Staters. Have you heard this saying, "If God isn't a Penn State fan, then why did he make the sky blue and white?" Penn State's colors are blue and white. I'll be "tailgating" at a friend's house and watching the game. My mother-in-law is coming to babysit the little Morgie. I'm looking forward to a few hours of of socializing and watching some good football (hopefully)!! We are... Penn State! |

That was my exact thought! Only two pages today. But the day is not over and I have to catch up on yesterday's late posts as well. Oh geez, football. Sorry, not a fan, so you won't get any comments from me. But have fun with it... |
