Good Morning everyone

Eagle Duo thanks for the video. That is so cool that there is a camera on the binoculars and considering the conditions, you did a great job. It made me feel as if I was right there with ya :P I probably would have been shaking just seeing the bald eagle!

Sandie glad your doing better. I have an ionic breeze and it works great with the kitty fur. It is very quiet and sometimes I don't even remember it's there. You have to clean it every couple of weeks but it is no big deal. Just a note if the power goes out you have to turn it back on along with resetting every clock in the house!

Sun is finally coming out and should be a mild day. I have been watching the birds in my backyard and in particular the nuttall"s woodpecker. Actually saw my first female and yesterday a juvenile. They love hanging on the suet feeder to feed. Should be seeing the arrival of the northern flickers soon as the season changes.

Have a great day. I'm going to spend time with my daughter today. She needs help finding a dress for a wedding she is going to. That is always an adventure

Hi All
Nancy thanks for that reassurance. I ordered it last night and look forward to getting it very soon. I hope that it takes care of some of the problem. I just can't visualize me giving up my Bernie.
In case someone didn't get to read my previous request about a place to live.... I'm in East Ventura right now and I would love to rent a guest house somewhere in the city I live in a tiny apt now and it is ok...obviously....I've been here 13 years but I really need a yard. <_< I looked at one yesterday that I would have loved with a huge back yard and a lovely deck. If anyone hears of a place like that please let me know??? I would love to go outside and look up in the sky and look for flying talons!!! Bernie would be in paradise too.
Yesterday I walked out the front door and saw this hummingbird almost directly in my face. Bernie and he were almost eye to eye. It was funny to look at the two of them size each other up. Bernie couldn't move that fast if he tried/had wings.
I'm so proud of myself. I cleaned off my desk last night. That was such a huge endeavor. Now I can look and say oh, there's my geneology stuff, school stuff, business stuff, bills etc. What a relief.
Eagle Duo thanks for the video...I wish I could have gone with you but seeing the video made it almost the same.
If anyone is interested in scenes from Oshkosh and the USA these are beautiful pictures http://silvairehair2.home.comcast.net/072806/

When we first saw the eagle in the top of the tree, we weren't sure if it was the bald eagle. We were getting the binoculars on it when all of a sudden it did the famous poop shoot. As far away as it was you could see the stream with the naked eye. Jann got the binocular camera on it just in time to get the fly away.

That's great you saw the poop shot prior to flying off....remember right before they are going to take off they "lighten the load" good observation :D

Sandie, thanks for the link. Those photos are amazing! Do you know these folks?

Regarding your housing search, I don't know of any guest houses for rent but I'll try to keep my eyes and ears open for you. I've lived in both apartments and guest houses and must agree: the little houses rule!

Did you say you own a Teardrop trailer? Those things are the cutest! I saw a special on them on TV not too long ago. They have quite a cult following - whole groups of Teardrop owners getting together to camp and show off their customized trailers.

Sandie, thank you for that link to the Oshkosh and USA pictures. I think Darrell (EagleD) might really like to see those.
Where is Darrell anyways? I'm curious to hear how the meeting with the kids went. Wake up Darrell!!
