Sandie, I agree with you about the hummers, and attitude. I have a lovely one that sits on a plant on my porch guarding the feeder- won't let anyone near it. Another in the back patio area guards the other feeder. Reminds me of Cruzer mantling - guarding the food. It's probably a survival thing. I also just went on the IWS site and found the order area by clicking on everything..do wish they had shown all 3 colors for the shirts. I ordered a green shirt (thinking of trees) and a hat which I will probably give my brother-in-law since he has a birthday coming up. Can't wait for the arrival. |

Sandie, I got stalled with Paypal--I could only manage to order t-shirts and wanted to add items, so gave up and sent in a check today. I ordered my first IWS DVD by check and it arrived quickly--so this will be fine too. If I had only ordered one item, in any quantity, I think I could have used Paypal, but I sure got stalled in there when I tried to add to that. Bernie is the greatest--also, if he likes to take baths, that should help your allergies. Some of mine love water, but some are the biggest sissies about getting wet. It does keep the dust down. I don't want to rub it in, but the reason I got back on here is to report 4 Red-tails soaring the thermals on the hill above my house. One was making the classic call...with longer intervals between the call. One of the four went off by itself. It's really hard to look almost directly straight up, with binocs, so I didn't see much, Sandie, but did notice that they differ in their markings...different ages, I guess. Bernie is probably a lot less stress on your neck! |

Well, I'll be around a little less frequently as I'm rejoining the ranks of the employed tomorrow. It's been a while since I've actually had to get up and go to work and I'm really looking forward to it. Deby wasn't feeling to good yesterday so her birthday wasn't the greatest in the world. It' nothing serious, but it did turn into a major inconvenience. She's been away for a couple of days and is due home later today, I'm hoping she's feeling better. Anyway, that's all I have for now... Darrell

Hello all, I'm still around but now I have no voice...gone! Which at work I'm sure they are happy about. I have been doing all of the remedies possible. This has been the weirdest cold if you will. But I feel I'm on the mend. Darrell good luck with the job welcome back to the ranks. Hope that Deby is going to feel better for her birthday celebration. Jann Boy I was fooled with that video for sure...Cute when I was thinking terror! Thanks it brought a smile to my face. Glad all is well and that everyone had reflective moments yesterday, it was an day indeed for that. I will check in later. |

Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity. --Lao Tsu |

Good morning everyone (for me, afternoon for you). Today the rain has finally stopped. Pat your dog maul pic took a lot of courage to take Eagle D ~ good luck in the new job and its not too traumatic to get back into the swing of employment. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home and can dictate my own hours, but the downside is I seemed to be chained to the desk at times and the refridgerator is in the next room I bought 2 t-shirts & box cards through the iws link but it automatically generated an Aussie shipping address when I wanted it shipped to KLJinUSA. Well, we'll see where it ends up. I'll be lurking.... :ph43r: KLJinOz |

Checking in before the mealtime chores (feathered-type) begin here. Darrell, great news about your new job. I also hope Deby is feeling better today--and that you have a wonderful birthday celebration. The nest does look beautiful. It's nice to still have it around. The memories.

I like the new look of the website, they must have a new webmaster. Hmmm, if he's worth is stuff, he will put the product link on the main page so you don't have to dig into Contributions for it. People that don't want to contribute in the form of cash won't open that page, so they wouldn't know it was there. But they may want to buy product ... I didn't look as I had already contributed! |
