That sounds interesting. What's it about, and even more importantly, did you accept? |

'Nite Eagle Duo. I wanted to ask Lou and Peppermint in Carpinteria if you guys have a lot of ashes from the fire? I had quite a few ashes on my car yesterday morning, and even more this morning. We currently have a pretty big fire burning here in CA, and my thoughts are with all those poor animals that are trying to get out. Our local paper reported today that Hawks and squirrels were seen fleeing the fire, and I soooo hope that breeding/nesting season for all the affected birds/animals has been long over. I'm a real novice at all this bird stuff, and I have no idea when Hawks are nesting/breeding? Poor things .

I didn't notice any ash today but I was inside most of the day except for a half hour walk late afternoon. Is that the Castaic fire? We noticed the sky and fog looking rather yellow yesterday afternoon and thought it must be from the fire. I see the update is posted..... |

Yes, the Castaic fire. The sun looked almost blood red from Camarillo yesterday evening. It was a rather beautiful view, but I do hope they get it under control soon. |

I just hate the fires. It's been so cool and overcast/foggy here the last couple of days that it's hard to believe a fire is raging not that far away! I'm off to bed...early day tomorrow to work on cleaning out old files for a client...joy joy! |

Bea, I work in Ventura and noticed some ashes on the car when I left work Tuesday night to go home. Wednesday morning when I went out to go to work, I noticed ashes on the other car in the driveway that hadn't been driven for a couple days. But there weren't very many on either car. Definitely something I'm all too familiar with. |
