![]() Did #69 lose her tail feathers, or have they always been this short? I don't see any white feathers on her. I believe that's 69 in the back. When I had a better shot of her earlier, I think I could see #69 on the tag. The one in the front also had an orange tag, but I couldn't make out the number. You can't see the tags in this picture.

I think it is just the way the bird is turned that makes it seem like she has no tail feathers. Don't know why the camera acts up like this. Starting in October/November I'll begin replacing cameras (better one at Two Harbors) and trying to get a better video signal to the computer. We hope to get more streaming video from the Catalina nests next year. |
