You know if we had babies in the nest I think the date would be meaningful for someone to go back and check on it...maybe? But for me if it's on top I figure that's good enough for me. I feel stupid....AGAIN!! What's an Avtar...I don't see anything new I barely know anything more than adding a smilie!!) Forget adding a picture! What pictures????Speaking of pictures I loved the picture of the bird upside down drinking out of the faucet. See I wanted to send that to my sister and when I went to do that it opened up AOL. I haven't used AOL for anything is over a year!! HELP SOMEONE!! Speaking of the things I don't know...How do you know when there is a newbie and where do you go to see who's here other than just scroll down? There must be a lot more to this than I know about! Picked up my friend at LAX last night. Easiest drive I have ever made! The kids are staying with her sister. Must be really hard for them to lose a mother and father within a month! I hope those snakes that died feed all the birds in the area. I can't feel too bad about rattlesnakes...sorry. I think the fire is getting better...doesn't smell as smokey as yesterday and the day before. Hulabird...I felt so sorry for Bernie. I kept him covered all day yesterday. I felt like I put him in jail! |

ED: Hey - all the fun happens after the "eastnesters" got to bed!! I'm going to write congress and ask that the US be put on one time zone! How crazy would that be!! But then I wouldn't have to get up in the morning and read thru pages of "fun" and then wait for hours for the "westnesters" to get up! Gotta love it -

Sandie, I sent you a PM (private message). To find it, look at the top row on the right where it says: My Controls - Inbox (1) - View New Posts - My Assistant. Click on Inbox and that will take you to a page where your private message(s) are. Then just click on one to read it. |

You have upload the other images/photos/etc to photobucket and then paste the URL to your reply - I have to go to a couple meetings (at the same time duh) - maybe when I get home later and I can remember - I can send you the basic info to do that (and let me tell you - it's basic cause that's about all I can do) I think you can also find it under one of the other threads - let me se...... edit: on the index page - under "What are your questins" there is a thread: "Tech help" and in there should be all the info you need to get started adding to your replies! if not - send me a message or email and I'll see what I can do! Good luck OK off to the meetings!

Rattle snake bites can be prevented. They don't attack. They will rattle to warn you when they are close, (if they see you). Hike in the morning when it's cool and they' re not out sunbathing, stay on the trail, keep your doggy's on the trail. Keep your eyes on the trail. They are big and scary so be diligent and aware. It's a lot of work hiking in the summer when it's hot, not a stroll. We have lots of rattlers here, it gets hot in the summer. Unless you get surprised by one of those big daddy snakes, you might be a little nieve. But it's always worth going out to the trails. The open space is so cool!! Indorphins are so healthy. I'm seeing the forestry trucks leaving and blue skys again. The dust is settling. Maybe I'll try a hike tomorrow.

hedi: Congratulations on your retirement. Fortuna is a nice little community. I have a friend in Ferndale which is a nice small artsy community which is near there, I think? Off again to help a client....had an interesting speaker at our luncheon today about Trusts. |

Hi everyone...Just got back from errands There is a new plume of smoke coming from the topa topa's I think. If you are heading up the Santa Paula frwy toward Santa Clarita it's off to the left side coming down the side of the mountain. This could be pretty dangerous if it comes down that mountain it will certainly impace some residences too. I got approved for my new car loan!!!! YIPPEE. That's almost as fun as retirement!!! Congrats Heidi. You are going to love it. Just stay on the forum and talk to us all day. Now I can go car shopping. Confetti falling! |

I've just posted the last of my Alaska pictures in the photos section. They are of Haines, AK, the eagle capital of the world. If you'd like to read more about the eagle convention held there in November, here is a link. It is a dream of mine to attend someday. http://www.baldeaglefestival.org/ |
