We had an apparent sighting of either K10 or K26 on the nest this evening - only for a few minutes, but it's the first time we've seen an adult on the nest in a few weeks. Would this be likely to have just been a coincidental visit, or could they be looking at the nest again? It's still pretty early for any nest building/repair I think? |

Dr Sharpe, the Cumbrian photos were on the Sept 21 thread, page 3. You were coincidently featured on the same page! |

It is a bit early to be thinking about working on the nest, but it is a good sign that they are visiting still. I plan on going out to Santa Cruz on Oct. 6 and will likely relocate the camera to a point closer to the nest and hopefully with a view of the water in the background. I want to be ready for any nesting activity, which could start as early as December. |
