You think that crow will be embarrassed when he finds out he's being watched? |

It looked so big--and it called a few times. I need to learn how to place them side by side, as Cumbrian does. ??? ![]() ED: I did it--thank you! |

Not only watched, but photographed! I think he must have found the golden nest enchanting. He sure wasn't in any hurry to leave! This little visitor arrived while I was making my last post and stayed for 40 minutes, preening, enjoying the view, stretching, preening some more, jumping briefly into the bowl then back up on the middle pine cone branch before 'lightening his load' and flying off to the right. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That's ironic, Patti. Several of our shots are exactly the same! GMTA? To put your pictures side by side just put a space or two between the picture URL's instead of hitting ENTER. |

Hi from Florida, just got back from Key West - saw many waders (chickens running loose all over Key West) and several raptors I can't identify. Off to Parrot Jungle tomorrow and the ship on saturday. Glad that the fire isn't any bigger, but still worried about you guys up north. The update was good, and I will try to check in next week. Sylvia |

The Two Harbors and West End cams are only up for 5 minutes at a time and then you need to refresh. IWS is paying for the bandwidth on these two cameras and two years ago we got hit with a $6000 overage charge for two months of bandwidth. |

Uh, duh---do you mean when I'm still in Photobucket? Or after I've pasted the url's into my message, but space BEFORE I click "Add Reply" in the Chil post? Me thinks your mind is greater than mine.

Hi everyone...Back from my trek to Hawk Hill. Well unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the fog never lifted. Thick as pea soup as we say up here in SF. Saw a huge raven though and they are big. At first I got all excited...Cruz look alike! You can check the weather with the live cam and we sort of knew that it would possibly not clear. On Saturday and Sunday from now through October they hold mini class from 12-1 on info and banding of the hawks that fly through. There are 19 different raptor species that you can see.The average sightings from 1999-2003 have totaled 28,131 with 3 bald eagles flying through. So I may head back this Sunday to listen to the lecture and hopefully see some if the weather is clear. So had to head back down the hill and go shopping instead! Oh well, Had a nice time visiting with my friend. Jann thanks for that link to the eagle nest building. That was one of my questions for Dr Sharpe to which he answered. It is full of info and is a good one for our upcoming nesterations! It is an amazing process. Here is the link to Hawk Hill with lots of info on raptors for those who are interested. http://www.ggro.org/ |

When you're pasting your picture URL's into your message on the forum...i.e. Paste first picture's URL.....space 2 times.....Paste 2nd picture's URL.....press ENTER. Repeat the above line til you've pasted all the pictures you want. I always preview my post to see if I've made any errors before clicking the ADD REPLY button.
Not by a long shot! Nancy - That was my better half that posted the link for the eagle nest building. His posts are in black. Mine are in blue. We're color coded.

Ack, no wonder the camera is so unclear. Do you need A-49ers to donate more money for this camera? Should we stop viewing these cams for now? Please let us know if we should stay off those 2 cams for now? Are we spending more in bandwidth than we're making in support? |
