Pythons are GOOD snakes, they eat the bad ones, like the red-bellied black and brown nakes which are really aggressive and nasty. Pythons actually eat the other two, as well as rodents and other undesirables..... So I'm not ready to pack my bags yet. |

I like snakes - the prairie rattlers we used to see in Alberta when prospecting were really cool. |

Okay....if you say so. My son keeps trying to convince me of that.....and in my head, I know he's probably right (about the pythons.....not rattlers of any kind), but I'm not gonna tell HIM that! I still wouldn't like seeing one by my front door! Although I have to admit that would be better than one greeting me in the commode like a friend of ours had happen when we lived in Japan!

UGH maybe, but at least frogs don't bite.....unless you're a fly.

I think I have a fear of snakes, but not an irrational one, like my friend. She can't go into a pet store that sells them. I can touch them, if a pet store snake, not some wild snake. My friend can't look at snake photos or watch them on TV. Her first cousin has the same fear---and neither of them knew the other had this fear. It must be genetic. |

Patti and Eagle Duo/Jann....I am going to post some information on the tech thread to help you post your photos side by side. It may appear complicated but if you actually practice with some of your other captures then just delete before posting it will become clearer for you. I think the maximum number you can post at one time is 8 photos...that is why I started to post them alongside each other and try to keep the number of captures at an even number when posting them. Hope it all makes sense.......just give me a few minutes to post over in the Tech Thread. (Jann I know you already do this......I didn't realise that you were bringing them over individually....sorry about not informing you about this sooner). |

Eagle Guy -- Should we not be watching these nests? I would hate to be the cause of an overcharge to IWS. |

Cumbrian, I eventually figured out the side by side placement process--and it's much better! Your instructions in the Tech thread are ultimately invaluable to all of us--it's our collective "memory." You're the mastermind, but in our quirky ways, we all learn from one another trying to figure things out. Photobucket allows you a FLOCK of images. Have you seen that...it's the last option? It's offerred after you've already used ADD MORE IMAGES--or however they've phased it. I laughed when I saw the word flock. How appropriate. "Flock" loading allows many many images to be loaded at one time. Maybe this is how you have created your slide shows? |

Photobucket recently upgraded their site. I was having a panic attack, I couldn't upload an image, all the instructions had changed. KLJinOZ was asking "Are you signed in?" Of course, there are my photo albums and my screen address in the upper corner. Turns out I was NOT signed in. Very strange, my stuff is there, but I wasn't there. Hey, don't ask me.. Anyway, I finally figured it out and uploaded a photo of the campsite at Scorpian Bay, Santa Cruz Island (Calling all Locals thread, around page 30). |
