I just answered cuz I didn't see you around and thought you were gonna be busy with your yard sale today. Sorry you gotta keep that bedroom set for another week. Can't imagine something so big the thrift stores wouldn't take it. I don't know about anyone else, but you sure got my curiosity up. Now let me get this straight.....if you're Kukla, does that mean ER is Ollie? As for the other link to the Maine nest, here's the one we use: mms://67.159.5.127/EagleCam |

Hi Carol Ann. Yes, thanks I saw it. Plus KLJinUSA has PM'd me about it. I was just teasing about the elite group. Sometimes my sense of humor comes across harsh when I don't intend it to. Hope nobody takes it that way. ED, she might be Fran

Hulabird - This is more in reference to my PM to you the other day. And yes, I knew you were just joking. But I do have a question. . . who's gonna be Ollie?

Not the furniture on eBay but I have listed it on craiglist and no takers. The bedrooms are so small in these houses over here. I've seen them as small as 6x10 (10x12 is about the norm for a master bedroom) Painful isn't it? Heck, my closet is bigger than that. Everyone was telling us at the last one that the price was right but it just wouldn't fit in their bedroom. Did I mention that I hate living in Hawaii? |

Hulabird.. do you have a fireplace??? Could chop the bed up and burn it.. Nancy, enjoy your shopping for baby stuff.. It is a great feeling being a grandma. After raising 3 boys, I have two granddaughters and I have so much fun buying them stuff.. mostly art supplies for the 3 year old.. She paints great trees with limbs (so the birds can sit down) and leaves.. not just a brown line with a green ball on top.... I loved seeing the side view of the Catalina nest, showing the 'history' of old nests, sliding down the rocks.. also, the camera and how close it is to the nest. Talk about a room with a view??? |

Lala, a fireplace in Hawaii? We don't even have heaters. But a toasted marshmallow party sounds like a plan. |

It's beautiful here right now! 81 and low humidity. Clear sky, fall like. There are predictions for thunderstorms sometime today, but I have no idea when. How is your weather? How often do tornadoes happen in Hawaii? (or funnel clouds) |

I've seen a small funnel cloud in a pineapple field in central Oahu once. I think most of them are off shore though. We had a pretty bad hurricane (Iniki) since I've been here. Hardly ever thunder/lightening but when it does, my animals go nuts. Its sunny and warm/hot here today. Glad the fire zone peeps are safe and sound and our east nesters are faring the same. I forgot to ask Harpo. Must be getting about due for a little dusting of snow in the next month or so up there. I saw a funny picture online yesterday where somebody's yard had several inches of snow all over it. They had a sign by the road that said "Inexperienced snowmen, you haul" I thought it was cute. |
