A few pics of the WE visitor. Can't make out the number, but I'll go out on a limb and guess its #69.

I like watching the boaters in the water behind the nest. Wonder if any of them have any idea that they're that close to a bald eagle nest.

He/she just flew away. I'm so excited to see reconstruction underway! I think it happens earlier in Maine because the weather will make it impossible soon.

Thanks ED for the new link to the Maine nest. I appreciate not being timed out!

Thanks for the shots ED. I sure wish K-10/26 would visit more often.

I crashed my computer getting to the Maine nest. I rebooted and when I got back she was gone. :(

Thanks for the heads up Saraoh.

West End nest captures. Rats. Not much action, but a lot of head-turning! Then my cam froze.

Must be Jay Day because this fellow has been coming and going~~preening on the left branch and moving around the nest.

Just back and checked on the three nests. Looks like the West End nest has the most action today.

Watching for?..............................................Looking out to sea.

Posted Image Posted Image
Just checking...............................................Preening session.
Then the camera went kind of jerky and when it refreshed the eagle was gone.........at 14:45.

The jay is now on the E branch.

Thought it was gonna leave shortly after 2pm, but she was just stretching and stuck around posing for the camera til just before 3pm

In the meanwhile, we had a little visitor to the Santa Cruz nest. It blends in so well in the still shots, I thought I'd give you a hand in seeing it. Left for a few minutes and came back to the E branch.

Jann & Cumbrian, unless the new male has a K-01 wingbling---and it seems as if he doesn't, I guess the WE eagle must be our girl, K-69? I'm having trouble getting back into that nest. You both got some good shots! To me, the second number does look like a 9.

Back to my paperwork....ugh!

You saw a number? WOW! Your eyes are a lot better than mine. I zoomed in and all I could see was an orange blur. I was also guessing that it was #69 though, since I don't recall seeing a wingbling on #01. Would it have deteriorated by now...assuming he had one to begin with. I forgot how long Dr. Sharpe said they usually lasted.

I loved all the screen shots.....we all had different ones, which wasn't easy as she didn't do a whole lot other than primp and pose for the camera! :D

btw....Hulabird, we'll roast marshmallows with you in December! :D

Just the other day I posted my favorite website for world time.
Today, I went there and found this:
Quote:

www.TimeTicker.com
TimeTicker and the time tickers...
Dear visitor,

I have to close the TimeTicker-project for a while.
There are some kiddies out there, that try to hack our server and generate a lot of work, downtime and expensive traffic. I can not accept this.
I need some time to decide, whether to get www.timeticker.com OnLine again...

Sorry for this delay to all other visitors and best regards.

Just one sentence to those "kids":
Why don't you look out for other playgrounds in real nature?

Ain't that something?

I'm in charge of security for our web site at work and it is very time consuming and sometimes frustrating. I certainly feel for him. :(

Not the furniture on eBay but I have listed it on craiglist and no takers. The bedrooms are so small in these houses over here. I've seen them as small as 6x10 (10x12 is about the norm for a master bedroom) Painful isn't it? Heck, my closet is bigger than that. Everyone was telling us at the last one that the price was right but it just wouldn't fit in their bedroom. Did I mention that I hate living in Hawaii?

Okay, now when Dave and Jann get over, you get Woody and this is what you do:
you tote that big ol' bed down to an empty beach area when the tide is going out. Next you put up a tall 2 x 4 and nail a big sheet to it. Then you break a bottle of Inner Peace over the head board and give 'er a big shove.
If you want, you could pin a note to the mattress (as in a bottle).
Now, if that goes good, you can do the same thing with the other furniture pieces.
Maybe some of those folks from all the TV survivor shows will rescue it on some deserted island and voila!!!... recycling at it's best!!!!
