good morning - of course it's Monday morning here on the east coast - sunny and COOL!! I'm off today because of the jewish holiday (my boss / not me so I'm not too familiar with which holiday it is - has to do with new year I think) I'm trying to get motivated but not being too successful! Still have painting to do - doggie fur balls everywhere - birdie cage needs big time cleaning - yet the sun and cool weather is beckoning to me to come out and play........ Hope all had a great weekend no matter your endeavor! Hope more visits to the nests - just love the info and photos! Anxiously awaiting Cruzer update of efforts and of course Wednesday is right around the corner - woo hoo OK maybe I'm a bit motivated now to get busy - yeah right!!! Edit: I posted a couple photos on Family -- of Sat's outing with my scouts! |

Good morning, all. Had a rough time sleeping last night and very groggy this morning, so I'm apologizing ahead of time for any goofs I'm liable to make today. I caught that last minute or so of an eagle on the West End nest as soon as I opened it up. It was very shy and wouldn't turn around much, but I did get a couple shots before it left. ![]() ![]() Look real close & you can see it flying off towards the water on the left. Thanks, Cumbrian, for your tip of uploaded backwards. Sure helps the posting process! |

Cruz's nest looks so quiet and lonely this morning. |

It does look quiet and lonely, but pretty and inviting with the sun shining to brightly behind it! Almost looks like two different pictures.

I've been thinking - maybe east coasters can have their "inner peace" and just continue right on when the nest coasters start theirs - giving us a "double"! Let me tell you - some days I need that for sure - extra inner peace! It's so sunny here but nice and cooooooool - just the way I like it. Hope everyone is have a super day |

Good Morning Everyone, We have a cooler start to the day, but the forecast is for more sunny days ahead. Great photo captures Jann, hope that you are feeling less groggy now. Have posted the 'reverse order' tip, at Photobucket, on the Tech Thread, for anyone that may be interested. Jann, I posted a comment on the Family Pixs thread about your videos. I think once we get all the technical details sorted out about the limited access to everyone's account, it would be helpful to all the members if you, Jann/Dave and Kath in OZ and ElaineRuth, who is pretty quick at 'sussing out' what to do here, would post into the Tech Thread all the details for future reference. Thanks. Harpo, looks like you all had a great time visiting the coast guards. Hope all are having a great day........ |

That wing bling for K36 looks HUGE! But I guess when you take into account the age and development at the time of tagging - it all evens out in the end! |

Great idea, Cumbrian.....but what is 'sussing out'? p.s. I am less groggy....have to be with three active grandkids here today! Will pop in as they permit. It's supposed to be a gorgeous day here today so I'm hoping to take them to the park to play after lunch. |

Shame on you Eagle Duo. I found this on GOODSEARCH suss (DISCOVER) Show phonetics verb [T] UK INFORMAL to realize, understand or discover: [+ that] He never sussed (out) that they'd tricked him. She thinks she's got me sussed (out) (= She thinks she understands me), but she's wrong. I'll visit the college and suss it out before I decide whether to apply or not. |
