I'm still here Bea. Had to check my email (spam). I know what you mean about talking to yourself in the night. The only person who usually ever answers me is that broad named Flood Control. I've already had my 2 hours of shut eye for the day so waiting for my east nesters to get up. |

I guess Hulabird fell asleep...sleep tight, but uh...it's 8:17 AM here in Pennsylvania. WAKE UP!! Have a great day all. I'm going to need that bottle of aspirin that was mentioned two days ago...My 4 yr. old has been invited to a CHUCK E CHEESE birthday party later today. He is out of his mind with excitement. Me, on the other hand, will be anxious to have him wash his hands when he's done! Who wants to bet that by the end of next week someone in my house will be sick with a cold or something else???  Have a pleasant weekend all!Nancy |

I'm awake but its my 10.45pm....Saturday Night! Pizza night and watching a memorial on Bali Bombings, very sad (and graphic ) ![]() Harpo you are funny girl checking in before checking in on the plane, Bon Voyage! HB, whaddya mean your house is falling apart at the seams, have I missed something? Nancy, I remember taking Karen taking my daughter (and me) to C E Cheese, and I vowed never to go again... (only cuz of the food tho, garbage). Daughter was only about 4/5? and overwhelmed with the place, there is NOTHING like that in Oz (thank goodness????), yes, best to keep the kids hands wiped for sure. Sunday forecast is late rain, so I'll be out in the garden tomorrow with my insect repellant (no more ticks thanks) Here is a cheers up for a great weekend for all. |

Good morning, Cruzers! At least I think it's morning. It's still dark outside...but the grandkids are already here, so we're up. They're all asleep on the floor, but we're up! We're going on a 'field trip' to the blood bank later so they can watch me give blood. While out the other day, we passed the blood bank and they asked a lot of questions about it, and since I was due thought it would make a good learning experience....especially since Dave will be able to watch them while I'm giving. Dave has to have an appointment for his donation cuz he donates platelets which requires the 'apheresis' machine.

Did anyone catch the news clip about the Marine in Iraq, who was adopted by a puppy, sherpard mix, Kava. When it was time for the Marine to depart , 1 year later, for the states, he didn't want to leave the dog behind. He tried everything to sneak him out. Even the Iraqis tried to help him get the dog out and back to the states. Well, the word got around about this Marine and his beloved Kava, to the marines with the trained elite military dogs, and they said " No problem" we will bring your dog back with us. So Kava, the mutt, came back to the states with the most elite military dogs. Looks like Kava was living the good life, some where in Hawia, Florida or San Diego. This Marine was no boy either, 40's or so. Great story I thought. |
