Is it daylight on the nest coast yet? Anxiously awaiting the morning light on the nest. ED that was funny about the triangles yesterday. You got me.

Good Morning Debi! It is light on the nest coast and I checked the nest. Looks very beautiful and clear. Nice picture. No action though.

I'm home for a bit as I have to take Oreo to the vet before going to work. No holiday for me. The collar comes off and the drain comes out. I'm sure she will feel better about that. Hope that everyone has a good day. It's going to be a nice one up here in Northern California. Clear and crisp not a cloud in the sky.

The white crowned sparrows have now made their appearance with their beautiful song. Fall is in the air
Enjoy your day

Thank you very much for the Sunday video of Dr. Sharpe at the nest, Hulabird. I noticed that he wrote something about sound equipment. Yay!! EagleDuo, thank you also for the photos of the West End nest and the action there.

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians...........Thanks Denny and Jann.

No action on either the WE or our nest at present.

We actually have a free day today so I can check in to see if we get any visitors......tomorrow is the last cruise ship market so we are away from early dawn to mid-afternoon. Yesterday was another rainy day here on the nest coast, but the sun did come out later on. We love to show our visitors our beautiful city in all it's sunshiny glory, but as most of them hailed from Seattle they were used to this type of weather anyway!

Thanks Bee for re-posting the 'potty break' photo last night  We won't go there.....but let's just say if I had a laptop that could have been a possible scene in this house too as well as at Hula's!!!!

Nancy, pleased to hear that Oreo is progressing so well. She will feel so much better without that collar/drain.

Have a great nest watching day.

Tiger, forgot to say that I don't think anyone took offense at your 'tricky triangles' yesterday. I for one was really puzzled about them.....and any time you feel in the need for more of the triangles over the old nest view just say the word I have any number of them that I can post for you. Thanks for being so creative.

A couple of jays or some other bird seem to be visiting Cruz's nest right now.

Good Morning & Happy Thanksgiving again to our Canadian members. (This better be true and Denny isn't trying to pull a fast one. Monkey see, monkey do.)

Nancy, Oreo will be much happier!

We're still overcast here. It may be foggy, haven't checked. I've been on the phone with an insurance agent while watching the SC nest and have seen a pair of jays visiting. They're fast!

This is your starter for ten.......Find The Scrub Jays........

Two discussing the repairs required at the front right.............Now they have fallen out about what is required! One is on the, what was the right p/c branch and the other is on the left p/c branch! There was a third but he flew off before I could capture him.

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
Now the supervisor is on the branch whilst the other one is down again on the nest bowl looking at the hole! Middle picture he has moved to the middle of the photo at the very front.....can you see him?.........Third picture he is blending into the nest but he is still on the nest.

Posted Image Posted Image
They are quick.....Supervisor left.....worker jay still trying to figure out what materials are needed!

Good morning everyone. Just got my first glimpse of the nest thru the new cam. It's sooo cool! I love how clear and sharp everything is. Should make for some excellent screenshots. The angle is good also. We should be able to see all the branch action. Thank's IWS!!

Edit: Sorry I forgot, Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadians!

Here's a video clip I took of the jays visit this morning. They were feisty and scrappy, weren't they....and very interested in something in the bowl of the nest!

Denny's not pull our legs, Patti. :D It's on my calendar too.

It's Columbus Day here. Dave has off, but the boys have school, so Dave & I are to get up our Halloween village before they get home. I don't think we're gonna make it.
