Good Afternoon all...Just quickly checking. Wow love the camera view, much closer and very clear and crisp looking. Thanks Dr Sharpe. Heard the reports of the plane crash, everyone at work stopped dead in their tracks and since this is October 11, we didn't know what to think! Haven't really had time to check in with the news after that. Debi and Woody I do hope you guys enjoy your celebration today! I will toast you later this evening. Going out with the girls for dinner. Oz I posted a photo of Oreo last night on the October 10 thread the daily. She is doing well thank you. Now it is just the struggle administering the meds. Thanks for asking. Gotta run....on a break Talk to you all later |

The eagle doesn't seem to be doing too much other than resting. Doesn't even appear to be looking for fish. The white feather on it's chest just kinda blowing back and forth in the breeze. as it turns it's head back and forth. The sun setting on the left is pretty too.

While I was making the last post, it decided to move closer. I can see a shadow of a wingbling, but it's too dark to try to read the number.![]() ....and while helping my grandson with homework, it left. |

Thanks for the nice capture Eagle Duo. I think with that eyesight of theirs even if they don't appear to be looking for fish, if they spot something boom - off they'll go. That's what happened with the visit I posted about yesterday - the eagle was pretty much just roosting on the nest and then all of a sudden it looked out over the water and before you could say "salmon!" it was soaring out over the water. It might well have been it spotted a fish down there. |

You're probably right. Something definitely caught it's eye off to the left cuz it was off in a flash before I could right click to capture it. |

The nest is looking a bit more defined now with the sun changing angles. I can actually see a "bowl" that seemed to be gone before. Still seems too dark to me, though. Nice extended patio! |
