ER, I thought the hummingbird cam was live. It is dark at night (now, for instance) and earlier today I actuallly saw a hand adjust the perches. I didn't know where it was, so thanks TN for that info.

Yep, I am under the impression that it is live, also.
Maybe after dark, they run a 'Best Of..." until daylite. ;)

I understand where Susan is coming from, this board takes a lot of time to go through all the daily posts..I have to admit that I skim through a lot of things as I have a full time job, house under remodeling construction and Ozzie IMi'ing me for a couple hours each evening on AOL. I miss a lot of the in-between things.

One thing I don't regret spending time on: Being your Cruz Director for October 22. This has been a wonderful experience for me.

Whew! Just got finished with all of the posts for the day so far. You guys have been busy! Hulabird what a nice bedroom set, complete with mirror....well I won't say anything, can't really put it on this forum ;) ooooo I'm thinking bad thoughts. Anyhow, lots to catch up on and I'm tired reading them all. I really enjoyed update day and was very impressed with all of the info. I have turned on one of our employees to the cam and hopefully another supporter of this wonderful project that Dr Sharpe and crew have been working on.

All is well and I need to take care of a few things before bedtime. You all have a good one.

Oh I toasted Woody tonight with not one but a couple of glasses of wine. Happy Birthday! To You!

Too funny, ElaineRuth!!!! I can see Leyla doing that. That blonde does look a lot like Leyla.....the eyes and the mouth. Oh yeah and Leyla loves the video too. (Yes, she's spending the night again and still up. Hopefully will be going down soon!)

HB: Any Bed and Breakfast places near you? They might be able to use a bedroom set like that.

HI ALL:

I'm feeling a little better but still have an inner ear problem, so I feel like I am still on the ship. I was on the Caribbean Princess last week to St. Thomas, St. Maartin and a private island in the Bahamas with my baby sister. We got invited to a special Captain's luncheon (from the number of days cruised with Princess [219]) and was seated with the Cruise Director. I told him about Princess Cruz, which he thought was a riot. I wonder if we could try to get some funding from Princess or the parent company Carnival, after all they feature Alaska and California. Just a thought.

We had a great time but have not had time to down load my pictures from Parrot Jungle. My Birds are happy to have me back.

Dr. Sharpe, thanks again for all your good work. HB, hope it will work out for you to come for the hike, but if not, we will get together when you do get here.
Cumbrian, thanks for your continued effort.

I can't wait for nesting season!!!!

Hulabird :

"Just can't get any better unless K-10 or 26 decides to show up with half a pine tree today."

Check out the Maine nest. There is a video of Dad doing just that today. Send Cruz over for a lesson...

And a very Happy Birthday to Woody!

HB - just finished reading the posts and guess I was premature in suggesting the tax writeoff, thought it was gone with the Salvation Army. It is beautiful so it is hard to believe someone can't use it.

Pat, Patti and Deb - your posts are so humerous, I really enjoy reading them. Keep 'em coming, by the end of the day I need all the humor I can find.

The good news is that even though the SA wouldn't take the bedroom, they still gave me a receipt. You guys don't even know how bad I need the receipt. I swear, I will pay every spare dollar I have to feed an animal but all these crack heads I'm taking care of is killing me to the tune of $15K that could be gettting donated to IWS. I resent this remark.
