It was literally the most birthday wishes he's ever received in his life. Thank you eagle peeps. You're the best. He couldn't understand why you all would give a care that it was his birthday. Some people just need an education and know where to find the best people in life. Maybe I can get him on the nest this year. You'll love him. Sandie: Your well timed phone call let me know last night that there is hope for Woody to get with us next year. He REALLY was flabberghasted but charmed by your birthday wishes. He knows all about all of you because I talk about you constantly. He is keeping an eagle eye on Dr Sharpe though. The name comes up a suspicious number of times in casual conversation. And he wasn't amused by the puddle pic. I think the framed autograghed picture on the wall in the living room might touch a nerve or two. But send it anyway Dr Sharpe when you get a chance. How are the rest of the girls handling this dilemma? How can we be blamed for having a rock star as our leader? MaMiMobaMom, can I get a chirp out of you? I'm still talking to the wall over here? (crickets, crickets, crickets). Thanks Harpo, sometimes you just know you're alone. |

Oh, we do already! I can't quite make out that cat today. Maybe tomorrow? However, that St Francis was right on! I'm going to miss it. |

HB at least you are on the forum and not seeking "inner peace" yet - not that it is a bad thing! So speaking of Dr. Sharpe - where will the autographed photo go? So glad it was a HAPPY birthday and enjoyed by all! |

Hulabird, I see the cat, looks like a lion's face to me. My kids made it to Rock Creek Lake, will miss them this week-end. Received my hoodie in the mail yesterday and already in the washing machine... orange cat hair all over it, not to mention baby-spit..(had to give Summer a kiss goodby).. I love the eagle on it. Might wear it to the island.. can't quite decide what to wear or which bird book to take.. decisions, decisions... |

Lala, you can't wash it. The DNA gives it character. If I was there, I would have a generous dose of bird poopage on mine just so my kids could have the experience. Also Rock Creek Park? In DC? That park is so beautiful. I wonder if they have any eagles there? Edit: She said Rock Creek Lake. Where is that? I swear I need to get off this rock. There is an actual name for it here. Its called "rock fever". Ack, can I see an eagle?????? Just when I typed that something came on my Tivo that said "Replublic Pctures" and its trademark was a bald eagle. Sigh. |

Hula/Debi, yes I saw the news on A-61. How very sad. I feel so bad for Bird. She had become attached to A-61. It is always sad when this happens, but I don't even want to imagine how I'd feel if it was our Cruz. No, no, no, please no bad news ever about our Cruz!! |

Hula, you are cracking me up! Talking to yourself. At least you know you are doing it! That makes all the difference. Where can I see the info on A61? I have not heard anything. |
