I grew up in eastern Oregon. I got an A in drivers training because when one of the chains broke on our drivers training car full of students on a narrow mountain road with a really bad drop off on one side, I put the car in the ditch on the other side. |

Wow, that sounds really scary! Glad you did the right thing!! When I was driving with hubby one time in Germany, it was snowing so hard that I started hallucinating. I asked hubby to drive, who had NEVER driven in snow being a California boy. Boy what a mistake that was. I was back on the wheel within minutes  |

HulaBird - You know why Woody is bald don't you? It is because every time he thinks about loving you another of his hairs falls out. My husband is almost bald and when he talks about getting a haircut I ask him "which one?" Remember the great American symbol - THE BALD EAGLE! We got our usual three drops to the acre of rain here today. I was outside planting flowers or else I would never have known about it. Bea - That must have been terrible, having a tree fall on your house! All my cats would have been under the bed and I would still be trying to coax them out. ![]() (I've done something wrong because this post is so big and I don't know how to undo it) Sorry...HB - do you give help with using this site? |

I'll take anything but a comb over. Now those people have their own websites where people ridicule them. LOL. Sorry I was gone for a couple of hours. A friend of mine who doesn't think the eagles should be the center of your existance stopped by. She so graciously couldn't stop telling me how terrible I looked with my eyes all swollen. You gotta love it when your best friend is brutally honest. Anyway, I just "got rid" of her and immediately had to check in. What does she know anyway? Anything going on? When Woody got out of the Navy, he was already bald but decided a "tail" and a pierced ear was the "plan of the day". When he finally got over it and went back to being "normal", it was me who got the honor of cutting that ridiculous scrap of "youth" off his head. Plus I got to keep the diamond he wore in his ear. |

Bee I used to call him my fur coat when we lived in Napa and the nights were so cold. He had more hair on his back and chest than on his head. I'll make something up if I can't support you with this site.. I'm more of a dive in and do heart surgery person than an end user. My biggest specialty is spyware/virus issues. I study that stuff with all my free time. I think Dave is much better on end user stuff. I didn't think your post looked big. But I can poke around initially and triage at least. |

I don't have any virus/spam issues (yet) because my computer is only a couple of months old. But I am having trouble learning PhotoBucket, ImageShack and Windows Wizard for pictures. My learning curve is terrible and although those sites have good directions I'm doing something wrong because I don't get the results I should. I need someone to type it out for me line-by-line. You know, a how to for Dummies. |

See this image I created in PhotoBucket..don't ask what I did because I don't remember and obviously it wasn't supposed to be this way. http://s110.photobucket.com/albums/n119/12...=1160709800.pbw You got to keep the diamond! Good for you... |

I downloaded Snagit and may do some tutorials for various issues with exact screen shots etc before my trial period is over. I don't really care for the program for eagle use because it asks you for your entire life history before you can save a picture, unlike Fraps, which just does what its told with a single keystroke. I'm still auditioning software for the coming season. If anybody has any recommendations, I'm all ears. We must be ready. I need to learn how to edit videos to cut out the extraneous (sp) stuff. I also need a package that will let me take random screenshots without interrupting the video capture. A motion activated one would be a bonus or else I'm going to have to buy a 750GB HD. |

I haven't tried Snagit but I did download all the others I mentioned above, including Fraps - which defeated me too. Told you I was dense. I have pictures in my "My Pictures" folder that I am guessing need to be changed to JPG, GIF or some other extension before they can be posted but I haven't been able to do that. Should we be emailing to each other about this so as not to bore everyone else who are trying to catch up with posts? |
