Don't put a http in front of it. Put it in exactly as it is there. |

Hulabirdie, I didn't know you had children! I don't recall you mentioning them before. Anything you can tell us about them? How many, etc? Does Woody have any? --------------------------------------------------------- Those horse riding stories were a riot! |

Due to the question of whether the hummingbirds were on cam live, I wrote to them and asked. Today, I received the following response: Hello Denny, Thanks so much for the feedback. We love watching them – they were live outside our window for months, and we captured this amazing bit of video then. What you are watching is unedited, it is exactly what we were seeing, and we’re keeping it up for now because so many people love to watch them. ![]() They are now basking in Mexico or somewhere further south – and will return in a few months. We will capture much more video then and also run the live stream, which we did over the summer. Take care, Judi Tugboat Enterprises Ltd. The reason I say that is because I watched the same hands do the same thing and saw the same people walk by on more than 2 days running. I can't say when they switched from live to tape; I was hoping they would be more specific. |

With this URL: Maine Eagle Nest When you will click on the link, it will open your Windows Media Player. After it starts playing you go in your "Library" tab, at the bottom left side, you will see "+Add to Library" click on that and then chose "What is now playing" or if you prefer click on "Add URL" and add in the provided window: mms://67.159.5.127/EagleCam 6:41 am EDT local eagle nest time Short & sweet  6:12 pm EDT |

I feel so stupid, asking what was wrong with 61 yesterday..shows I'm not reading everything I should. #61 was here for a purpose and he was successful in bringing lots of people together to share his short life, and share with others the plight of his eagle family. The broken leg may have been a factor. Other birds of prey may have seen he was weak and attacked him, we'll never know |

They don't really know, lala. They had noticed he wasn't moving a while ago (on the tracking system). Recently, they found his carcass. I don't think they can do a necropsy to find out what killed him. Dr Sharpe suspects maybe he was attacked by other birds on the island. |

Thanks, Bea, for Africam... I also visited the WE nest today and got some interference. I'm really jealous that the Catalina eagle parents are revamping the nest, while our Santa Cruz Island parents are nowhere to be found. I hope they have not abandoned it (as Dr Sharpe fears could happen). HB- I had to chuckle about your Harley-Davidson loving son. I work for a publisher, we have 9 publications, and Easyriders is one of them. I asked this before, but didn't see an answer. What is the difference between "Guest" and "Anonymous"?? |
