Looks like I chased Hulabird off to bed. Sweet dreams, Debi! <_<

In the meanwhile, while sorting through some of my links, I came upon these articles about the dangers of mercury poisoning today. What an eye-opener. :o I thought they'd done away with that when the switch from mercury thermometers to digital. Am I ever naive (being kind to myself here)! I was shocked to read how many things mercury is still used in....and how it's affecting us, our wildlife....and more specifically to this forum, how it's affecting the bald eagles. :o It is as devistating to bald eagles as DDT is, causing many of the same problems and several others. I'm not as articulate as Patti, so please read these articles for yourself and then write your governor about 'Enacting a Strong Mercury Plan' using the provided form on the Bald Eagle link below. It's very easy and you don't have to be good with words! I just did it and if I can do it, anyone can!

Good morning to all and thanks to Eagle Duo for the IWS links list and to Bee who has just given a link to the mother Panda and her baby.

I am sorry about Hulabird losing her mind but the mind she uses for Eagles is a much better mind than the ordinary kind of mind.

I can't get our nest but it will likely show up later on. It is Saturday and I am going to be busy butl will be back later on.

HulaB--hilarious plaque!

Jann, I'm still reading about mercury from your links. I had no idea it was in so many items. I don't know much about fishing, but this surprised me. Taken off the National Wildlife Federation link:

Good Morning Everyone.

Had a lot of catching up to do with all the posts last night!

Looks pretty breeezy at the nest and the WE nest camera is struggling to come on.

We are waiting for an Arborist to come and look at our Maples....they have grown so tall and are very bushy. Already our next door neighbour has made a semi-polite request for us to get them trimmed! Roy would normally try to do them himself but this time he is unable, and I think we should call the experts in anyway. Don't worry we will not allow them to be 'grounded' like ElaineRuth's 'Demon Hacker' ( Dear/Darling Husband) 'He who cuts treees' did on their property! :D

Enjoy your Saturday.

Hope you got some screen shots, Cumbrian, cuz I turned in just a couple minutes after the eagle alert and missed them. :( Need an 'eagle-fix'. Camera's still acting up today, but we have color earlier today than yesterday, so maybe we'll get a good picture soon! <she says hopefully>

Question for anyone.

If 10 and 26 do not come back to their nest, would another pair of eagles use it?
