We need an adjustment for sure if they are going to hang out on those upper pinecone branches. Might need to zoom out more. Then zoom in for babies |

I think this is the new camera. Don't think it has everything installed yet. What an exciting morning though! Let the games (raffle, that is) begin!!! Denny, have a great and safe trip! Did you leave your contact info with our nest mother (Hulabird)? |

Just think when we get sound. We can hear him/her coming and all of the nest rebuilding work. Can't wait. What a nice clear picture though and a great way to start the day. |

Great shot of the eagle on the West End nest, Cumbrian....especially under the difficult circumstances with the camera still acting up. And wonderful pictures of K-10! I got there late so appreciate all the pictures you can post! These pictures do show that the camera needs to be tilted just a wee bit. Hope they don't zoom out. Want to see all the detail we can. Not too greedy, are we?

Hi everyone.. taking today off so I can play. Dinner in SB was really great. A new restaurant called Fresco at the Beach, in the Santa Barbara Inn... took the place of Citronelle. Very upbeat and fun, and the view of the ocean was great too. This morning we're having See's candy for breakfast..I made up a pound box of 1/2 bordeaux and 1/2 key lime, our favorites.. candy and coffee and no work..yeah!!!! Sylivia, we feel the same way about you... good news, 10 day forecast shows lots of sun next sunday... |

I agree that the camera just needs a slight height adjustment. These shots today will hopefully help Dr.Sharpe and crew to see what is required. Looking forward to getting the sound at the nest ........... Denny have a safe trip, and Good Luck to you too in the raffle. skellis, just wanted to say thanks for your kind words in yesterday's posts and to let you know that we appreciate you too. ojailala, hope that you enjoyed your anniversary. The WE nest cam still struggling to come on.....saw some colour, but now seems to be back to black/white. Have a great day everyone...........We had a super start didn't we!

Hopefully K10's visit is also a hopeful sign that they will be continuing to use this nest when it comes down to nesting and egg laying time. |

Great videos, Hulabird! And great stills, Cumbrian! I too think this is a good sign that they're gonna use this nest again. Can hardly wait til they start their nestorations. Who woulda thought that we'd ever be able to witness such a miraculous event in so much detail? I am in awe of what technology is able to bring into our homes. And so grateful to the people that bring it to us! Thank you, Dr. Sharpe, IWS & everyone else involved!!! |

What a terrific way to start the day! Thanks to Cumbrian, Eagle Duo and Hulabird for the great shots and video. I'm so glad that I was able to see K-10 because of you all. Skellis -- What beautiful sentiments you posted yesterday. This forum is a very special group of people, you included. Like Naturegal, I was honored to be included. And your writings about IWS are so true. I agree with you wholeheartedly. It was a hard week. Did we ever hear anything from IWS? I couldn't find any posts from them after Hulabird asked if they were okay. Does anyone know? I goodsearched Zodiac boats to see what IWS uses to get from island to island. There were so many models that it was hard to tell which boat they might be using. But with any of those boats, I bet it's a pretty rocky ride. I hope none of them is prone to seasickness. |
