Hi Misty, you can post your question here. If the answer is already in the tech thread, I can point you to it. If its not, we'll take it from there.

Good morning, Cumbrian. Beat me to the punch. Was just gonna announce it. Here are a couple pictures to go with it. I haven't noticed any wingblings so far, so I'm guessing it's not #69.

Looks like #69 (guessing here) has joined the first eagle. Can see a wingbling, just can't make out the number.

Looks like someone brought or moved a large stick at the Santa Cruz nest since yesterday. I replaced a dead battery at one of the Two Harbors transmission sites yesterday, so that camera is back up, at least for a while. I'll be going to the nest at least once in the next couple of weeks to replace the camera (something with better color) and see if I can adjust the camera position to reduce the late day glare on the lens. I replaced a faulty receiver at one of the West End video sites, but that seems to have been only one of the problems. I may have to start from scratch on that system.

Good Morning All~

Wasn't that a great update with all the information. I am so glad that Cruz has a group to hang out with. She seemed like a strong and savy little princess so hopefully she will stay out of harms way.

Wow cute, K-10 brought a bracing branch to secure the bottom of the saggy nest. I guess he is loading up with supplies for the nestoration.

Everyone have a wonderful day today. . .

Hey Dr. Sharpe: You are right! That's one mighty big stick! Sorry about all the problems with relays, etc. I'm not a technical person so have a basic grasp of what's entailed and don't envy you the task of fixing things!

Anyway - I would guess that the recent visits and now a stick (no matter the size) is a good indication that we'll see more activity and eventually a new family ??!!

So what kind of nestorations would one think they are contemplating with a stick that size!! :D

good morning all....

I don't know why peoples' computers freeze on the Catalina camera sites because the images are being constantly uploaded to our server. If you would like to go directly to the latest image simply go to http://www.iws.org/eaglecam/wenest.jpg (West End nest) and http://www.iws.org/eaglecam/thnest.jpg (Two Harbors nest). You can then push Refresh (F5 in Explorer) and get the new image. This may make it easier for people grabbing frame shots.

Thanks for the info on the nests, Dr. Sharpe, and for replacing the batter on the Two Harbors nest cam. It's good to see that nest again! And it's great to see either K-10 or K-26 did a little nestoring on their nest!

Here are the last of my shots of the eagles on the West End nest. They're both gone now.

Look at the camera and smile!

No wingblings on either side on the eagle furthest from the camera. Makes me think it was the other female there with #69 today.
