Good idea, Hulabird. All done, complete with Dr. Sharpe's instructions. I am trying to rest here (as Leyla will permit). Took some meds and can breathe again, but I'm feeling a bit dizzy. Couldn't stay completely away either (I'm so bad!), and as I was checking out Dr. Sharpe's links, I found #69 back on the nest and the pictures were so clear, I couldn't resist getting some captures! Not quite 95. Too cute, Cumbrian! I do the same thing...especially when the camera is acting up. It's like using a digital camera. Snap away and just keep/post the best ones. She's so beautiful....especially in color! ![]() ![]() With the camera focused better, I could see some changes to the nest. I don't remember that long, thick stick towards the front of the screen and the long one sticking out towards the back. Going back to rest again. |

Great captures! Thanks! There's nothing like seeing an eagle to brighten the day. I've been wondering if we've been seeing the same two eagles on the WE nest or whether it's been a mixture of the three. I guess the only one we can be sure of is #69, because of the wingbling, right? With the image being so distorted, it's been hard for me to see any distinctive characteristics on the other eagle to know if it's the same eagle each time. Does anyone know? Feel better Eagle Duo! |

Good Morning all, Nice captures Jann Cumbrian. Nice to see the WE camera with color and clear pic. You guys are great. Jann stay well and you won't be sick. That's what I keep saying at least. I'm feeling a little under too, but I'm trying my best to stay well. Drinking lots of water and hoping to flush the bugs out  I'm so excited for you guys and the trip for Sunday and the raffle win as well. I will be thinking of you all and I expect pics upon return. Talk to you all later. Oh Margiew I'm still thinking good thoughts for you kitty. Start posting your posters of her. Good things will come |

Great job ED Funny though is that it looks like 69 is sitting on the camera!! yet it's only the shadow as it's projected into the nest!!

OK, here we are again all caught up......... Thanks again Jann, hope that you soon feel better, especially before Sunday...... Write 100 lines..... I will not get sick.........:D Something funny whilst I was capturing at the WE nest.....I could have sworn we had THREE eagles there! Boy was I getting excited....the Cam was not stable and when it eventually did steady I realised it was the smaller, and at that time darker rock behind the nest, with a whiteish gleam on it.......!!!Who is hallucinating now! Eagle Guy, THANK YOU for EVERYTHING that you do! Margiew, still sending positive thoughts your way........ skellis, hope the Raven is doing ok. Hulabird, watched the Steve Irwin Tribute last night and was so impressed with the 'send off' they gave him. Thank you once again for sending it to us. I was up early to try and catch Dad at the nest again this morning, but I guess he must have been there earlier, before the Cam came on and we missed him.........unless he is coming after the Cam goes off at night and stays the night at the nest........?????????? Mystery of the day.......Who brought the Stick? Some small birds flying around the nest. Have to go off for a while.......I haven't had breakfast yet!..............Later. p.s. Jann of all the photos we posted, looks like there was only 1 that was duplicated.....not bad eh! |

Hi all: I think I am going to have a surprise for Cruzneyland Sunday, if it arrives by tomorrow. I just got my hoodie and tee shirt from IWS. Hooray. I got this from a bird loving friend and thought it was appropriate: BIRDS LIVE HERE If you don't want to be greeted with beaks, feathers, and wings, Don't come inside because birds live here. If you don't think you can handle loud noises and screams, Don't come inside because birds live here. If you don't like the feel of birdie claws on your arm, Don't come inside because birds live here. If you don't want to step over these scattered 'round toys, Don't come inside because birds live here. If you don't want to have poop on your hands or your clothes, Don't come inside because birds live here. If you think a home should sweetly smell of perfume, Don't come inside because birds live here. But if you don't mind all this, you'll be instantly loved when you come inside, because birds live here. Have a nice day. Sylvia |

Sylvia, I love that. I'm going to print out a copy and hang it on my front door. Not that there is any question in anybody's mind that the birds live HERE!

Dave & I are both looking forward to meeting your whole family, Hulabird! We have a bird farm not far from us that we think of as a 'Bird Zoo'. Love going there and talking with the birds, etc. All three grandkids love it too! But I did warn my dad that he & his girlfriend might wanna do something else when we go to your house cuz of the birds. |

I think I've answered my own question. From the IWS website it says the male is #01, and I am assuming he still has his wingbling. So if 1 and 69 are wearing wingblings, the unmarked bird must be the other female. Along that same line, I guess we haven't seen the male yet as these are the two females that have been tending to the nest. Am I right in assuming this? |

Bea and Hulabird, many thanks for the information on CD's. Maybe all that information will be helpful to others. I'm sure it will b easier to understand the backing up of files now now that I undrstand the CD's. It is so good to see the eagles back on the nests. Thanks so much |

Thank you for the terrific screen captures, ED and Cumbrian. The screen certainly is clearer today at the WE nest. Too bad that we didn't get to see the stick being carried in at the SC nest. It's a good sign, though. |
