I've noticed this too, Hulabird. I doublecheck to make sure IWS is still listed as my "charity of choice."

Thought I would just stop by the Two Harbours nest and found this little guy.....

Posted Image Posted Image
Doing lots of preening and looking around.............maybe on watch for the real owners!

Posted Image Posted Image
On watch.............................................................More preening.....then looked like the camera zoomed (don't know much about this one so don't know if that is possible) but the Raven/Crow? seemed to move ...without moving ....if you know what I mean..... and off the screen!

There are 2 or 3 Jays moving around our nest at present.

I got home just in time to see the Jays on the nest. Their blue looked so.....so....so blue! :o Bluer than usual.....maybe the camera? I took several videos of them.....remember, I can only do 30-seconds at a time. Now to see if I have enough time to put some together and post them with everything going on here today! Some major changes possibly taking place in our home.

But tomorrow we're taking off nice and early to drive down to Newport Beach, to start our leisurely drive up the coast to Ventura! B) I can hardly wait! I'm really ready for a getaway and I'm sure Dave is too!

Here's a video of the scrub jays' visit to the nest earlier.

One eagle has left the WE nest, but the other is still there. The camera view seems to be pretty good and clear. There is a wing marker, but it's a bit too dark now outside to make it out. I guess it's probably #69.

Thanks for the wing up, Cumbrian!

I do like viewing the camera as suggested by Dr. Sharpe. It works a lot better, but it still goes through it's periods of being frozen.

PART I

Posted Image Posted Image
It froze after taking these two pics.....when it unfroze, one was gone.

She just kept looking back and forth

Sure looks windy!
