Good evening all...Been busy today with working and getting ready for the baby shower tomorrow. Should be a great day. Jann and Cumbrian thanks for those beautiful captures. That WE nest is a busy one. That pair is such a wonderful sight to admire. ElaineRuth Glad that your visit to the eye doctor was a bit better. Thanks so much for those photos of the girls and the videos are precious. KljinOZ What cuties those girls are. I always enjoy trying on hats myself. I liked to play dress-up as a child so there is nothing like a hat to top it off! Love the kitties together. Your black and white is very similar to my Bandit. Hope that you all have a good evening and I will check in tomorrow for some more pics and updates. |

ED and Cumbrian, your pictures of the WE nest are great. I can't see it that clearly, perhaps because the feed has farther to travel to me??? Not sure. I laughed out loud at some of your captions, Cumbrian. Debi, that eagle video has a lot of helpful information in it. I was mesmerised by the action shots. I wish that I could get as close to an eagle as those photographers were (paparazzi, LOL, SarahO). I also showed your bird family pictures to my husband. He really liked them. His father used to raise budgies, canaries, fancy pigeons, lovebirds, and cockatiels. So, what are we going to do tomorrow while our forum friends are off on their trip? I hope they get some super pictures. I can hardly wait to see them! I missed out on the nametag somehow, but I will be certain to wear my IWS Tshirt just so I can feel like I am part of the adventure. Have a terrific time, everyone!

Pat, great photos, I think it looks quite dramatic now with the centre pine cone branch in the top centre, really catches the eye. |

This view is rather artistic, isn't it? I like it for the view, but I'll wait for the close-ups to decide on the nest occupants! |

Hi Denny. The drive up here was gorgeous. The weather couldn't be better. Joanie & Scott are due here soon. Wish you could be here, but completely understand. Any chance you'll be able to make the spring trip? p.s. Dave a computer geek. He brings his computer EVERYWHERE!!! |

However, it's doubtful we'll have wireless access from the island or trust me, we would! |

I just posted on the Calling thread about our next trip. After the holidays, we will start a new thread and discuss a spring trip to Santa Rosa. Whales & wildflowers. I'm going to talk to the biologists tomorrow to see when would be a good time to visit. I want to personally apologize to cdn-cnd, Cheryl, for not sending you a badge. Please email me @ CruzFans@aol, and I'll have an honorary one made up for you. I have to correct CarolAnn's badge anyway, got the spelling wrong on the last name. The lady making up the badges for me has been so patient, I've had to have a number of badges made up at the last minute, including corrections. Next week will be the last I will bother her...until next spring anyway.
