Dave doesn't mind being called a computer geek. He makes us a decent living doing what he loves second best.....family being first. I'm on thirds of the complimentary inner peace, so I'd better be careful.

Hi all...
I know this is not the "island tour" site but wanted to post something here so that everyone going to the island tomorrow might read it.. There will be a photographer joining us from the Ventura Star.. His name is Chuck Kirman.. He will document our day and turn the pictures over to the reporter who first ran the eagle nest story.. Zeke!!.. They will do a follow-up story on the eagle and the impact it has had on so many of us.. I ran this by Karen a couple days ago and she thought it was a good idea and hopefully will get others involved with our fund-raising efforts...The paper is thrilled to join us on our "group blind date" Will see you all tomorrow morning...Linda

Thank Ojailala for this great news. I'm going to paste up this news on the Calling thread. Eagle D, Darrell, has already agreed to be our official spokesman with the Ventura County Star.

Eagle Duo., What are you guys going to do tonight?  Are you going downtown?

Doesn't seem likely since we are really enjoying complimentary inner peace with the managers at the Country Inn. We'll hopefully take a tour tomorrow evening after dinner.

Thanks, Cumbrian. Sorry you can't be here too!

A photographer? YIKES!!!! We need to put on makeup to go to the island?

Oh wow....we just got entertained by a couple of youthful cloggers!

A little mascara wouldn't hurt.

That's what we are, one big blind date. 16 forum members and their families & friends, 33 altogether.

Hey, I'm in the 900 Club now...

It's a type of dance / dancer.

It's either country and/or Irish.

did a goodsearch:

Clogging has been defined as America's version of 'Riverdance.' It originated in the Appalachian and Ozark Mountain regions early in the 18th century. It was called flat footin' or buck dancing and was done to fiddle or banjo tunes. Today this dance is known as clogging and is done to all types of music.

A form of tap dancing using soft soled shoes, with steel taps fixed to each heel and toe, is called clogging. However its more formal name is Appalachian mountain step dancing. There are hundreds of clogging clubs throughout the U.S.A., Canada and elsewhere, along with dance competitions, and national dance conventions. Cloggers will tell you that it is the most fun you can have with your feet on the floor!
