Great shots Cubrian!

I was wondering about the fog too Denny. Don't know tho.

From this site, the weather appears OK!

Thanks for all the great screen shots of the WE nest. It's nice to know that the male is making an appearance, and to know that his one wing marker is on his left wing (I'd forgotten which wing it was on). Looks like all three birds made an appearance today. I'll have to get into that nest in the next week or two to do some maintenance on the camera system.

It's not too foggy on Cruz today, but Catalina sure looks socked in. The fog actually looks like it is mostly on the backside of the island and not on the channel side. You can see live images of Avalon's harbor at http://www.catalinas.net/livecam1/.

Thanks for the update on the weather Dr Sharpe. Is the West End nest the one that is shown in the DVD where you and Dave Garcelon hiked up that steep mountain to get to it?

Good to know it's cool for the hikers. It's about 88 - 90 here in Ojai. I was hoping they brought shorts.

Looks like I forgot to log out several days ago. Oh, well.

I didn't go on the trip, but want to say I met Skellis, Sylvia, yesterday and she is a super lady. She is very smart; very nice; very everything good for humanity.

Going to look up the Kite hawk. Thank you to Ojai Hikers, I think it was! :D

Wanted to tell you how terrific Skellis is--and what a pleasure it was to meet her. We had a parrot party in the "birdroom." Fun singing to the feathered friends. Had it not been for this forum, this wouldn't have happened.

I know we'll get a super report of today's SC Island activities. Off to do errands and chores. Hope you all had a great day...hope I remember to sign out today. <_<

Newflash: Sylvia just called with a few minutes left on her cell phone battery.

They saw K10 & 26 when they got off the boat!!!! Peter Sharpe met them at the boat. That's all I know...Bye for now and Sylvia said there will be plenty of photos...it was fabulous.

Another set of captures. The first one is out of time frame with this batch but Roy captured it earlier and I missed it.

Great shots Roy! I just love it when we get a fly-in or fly-out! And that was an exceptional fly-out!
